It won't be Aliens who will bring back V-1. It will be we who will do so when we achieve superspeeds. We feel it's flying fast, but it's actually crawling by the universe's standards. We will always know which direction it's flying and how far it is so that day man will spend a couple of days to fetch it. From then on it will be exhibit no. 1 in a world museum to be admired and remembered by all generations to come. By that time, nobody will remember me or my grave. So will be the case with the guy in these posts who committed sacrilege by calling it "a lump of metal."
Can I just say: I've been looking at videos about Voyager all morning. This is, without doubt, the very best one. Absolutely superb. You should be proud of yourself. Thanks and well done.
9:46 That's here That's home That's us On it, everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their life. The aggregate of our joy and suffering. Thousands of confident religions, ideologies and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, everymother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politican, every superstar, every supreme leader, every saint and sinner in the history of our species, lived there on a mote of dust suspended.... in a sunbeam. The Earth is a very small stage in a vast, cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction... of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on a scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner. How frequent their mistunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of palee light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great, enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, atleast in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment, the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world.
+ To me ,underscores our responsibility to deal one kindly with one another and to preserve and cherish, the pale blue dot. The only home, we've ever known.
Yes I am agree with you. Great project by Nasa (and also by Carl Sagan). I have watched this video many times with tears in my eyes. According to me , Voyager project is much more important than Apollo , Internatinal Space Station , or any other projects , because Voyager has a data disk about our world and our civilization ....
Hello Fellows, Thanks a lot for the appreciation. It really means a lot to me. I dont recieve money from this video. This was a one time project just for awareness because I personally couldn't find a good Voyager video. But viewing your guys interest and appreciation, I am thinking to invest more time into this. You can suggest, on what, space related, topic, I should create the next video. The most suggested will be worked upon. Have a good day 🌼
No disrespect intended, but could you tell us what kind of power sources was provide for Voyager 1? An why not a renewable power sources? An what kind of engines was it equipped with? Thank You I enjoyed it very much.
Luciano Guerra Voyager 1 has three radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs) mounted on a boom. Each RTG contains 24 pressed plutonium-238 oxide spheres. The RTGs generated about 470 W of electric power at the time of launch, with the remainder being dissipated as waste heat. The power output of the RTGs declines over time (due to the 87.7-year half-life of the fuel and degradation of the thermocouples), but the craft's RTGs will continue to support some of its operations until 2025. Voyager 1 was constructed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. It has 16 hydrazine thrusters (8 backup thrusters), three-axis stabilization gyroscopes, and referencing instruments to keep the probe's radio antenna pointed toward Earth. The only renewable energy you can use in space is Sun rays. But when you are travelling interstellar, Sun cant help you much. Appreciate your comment. 👍🏻
I was already about to explode when the line "WE EXISTED" came up in a surprise together with the background music.. I CRIED. . . Too many things I realized after watching this video.. Thank You :(
I watched this video three Times in a row and there are no adequate words toate use toate Express how impressed and touched i am. I never comment in UA-cam, but now i have toate thank the creator of this video for this gift. Because IT was a gift.

i got chills even after 2 hours remembering how small and worthless we are in this universe in this stage . officially the best video on whole of youtube.. what an ending i revisited it after 2 years
Voyager 1 will be our legacy. Indeed that when we no longer exist, Voyager will still continue to explore the vastness of space, and hopefully - just hopefully - it will come across another form of life - somewhere... out there. If Voyager ever does come across intelligent life, that life - out there - will be looking into the past (our past). As if it's just like looking at the stars above in the night sky. So beautiful and emotional at the same time😭😭😭
I'm watching this for a 100th time.. This is the GOAT space video out there i will show this to my kids and probably my kids will carry it on to the future generations this just literally says that WE EXISTED to our future generations.. This is truly a masterpiece
I deeply appreciate your support. Accept my gratitude. 🙏🏼 Just uploaded this, hope you like it as well. Perseverance Descent to Mars 4K - Seven Minutes of Terror ua-cam.com/video/dCEC61qjc84/v-deo.html
Mark my words... the day will come, when a spacecraft from our planet. will catch up to this voyager, gather it up and bring it back home to its Earth. One day it will be called the greatest wonder of the world. A historic monument that billions will visit in some distant space museum. I believe that will be Voyager's true future.
I dont think so. Its vanished... for ever. It will keep floating like that either forever or it collides with something out there. The distance is too big which is reached since 1977. As we see even light speed is too slow for space travel. We go nowhere, except earth. Also it is even more possible that human civilization goes extinct like in the next decades
@@__inis__10 you can always dream, maybe we invent anything as soon we truely unite as one species instead of splitting up in our brainmade ideologies and stupid opinions about being a fake individual.
I remember seeing this video when it was just reaching a million views. I’m so happy it’s still growing, getting more views and acknowledgment it deserves. It’s a very humbling and educated video. If the ending didn’t make u feel some type of way, then you’re not human. Love this video. Every now and then I comeback and rewatch again.
Not trying to ruin anything but if the Earth could someday disappear then so could voyager... something crashes in to it, it's gone. Nothing left for any civilization to see. I'd say the Earth is way more of a time capsule than voyager is.
At 2:20 i completely went into panic mode. The reality of that dot being us really let me know how alone we are in a dark cold infinite Universe. At the end the speech of how everything that matters and things we do from good to bad all happen on that little pale spot we call home was very Deep. I didnt think i was going to sleep, this really stuck in my brain all night. Lets watch it again...
And many arrogant people, by knowing some equations, and skills in numbers, will never realize how insignificant we are. The only evidence of mankind is Voyager that will say "We existed", but no more.
Leon Gomez why am I balling right now at this video I mean from where it is right now every one i know and probably every on on this earth is dead and this is our only hope that we will live on and this really fucking scares me
Try to think on that paused moment when voyager took the photo , on which of the earths place you was and what you was doing AT THE EXACT SAME MOMENT VOYAGER WAS OUT THERE AND WAS TAKING THA PHOTO?

If this beautiful monolog by Carl Sagan doesn't bring some humility to someone, then that person is rotten at the core. We ain't no rulers of the world, no masters of creation. We are really meaningless in the scope of the universe.
We can only control what is here on earth and what we send into space, but nothing else in our solar system and into vast space that we have any control over. We feel superior to this notion here on this planet but outside of this planet, we are just a speck of dust. True power and longevity, you will not find here on earth, but only in space. So if you get too carried away into space, this planet will surely ground you back into the speck of dust that literally came from space. So we are embodied with greatness from the grains of the universe and manifested into an elite race of beings that persevere and conquer our own little universe here on earth, which, I hope, someday, will evolve into superiority outside our planet and find enlightenment from our cosmic wave of energy dispersed throughout the vast regions of our galaxy. 🙂

This was amazing. I had tears in my eyes at the end. We’re so small compared to the vastness of the universe. That fact both fascinates and frightens me. But all in all, no matter how stupid humans are, we humans lived a pretty badass life and I’m thankful.
What a great work! One of the best videos of space I ever watched. Each second in this video of 16:16 length was worth watching. Whoever's gonna watch this video is going to get goosebumps at 13:36. Voyager 1 must have covered a hell lot of distance in this 16:16 seconds and the time I took to write this comment and the time you'll take while reading this comment.
Don't know how many times I have heard this voice of Sagan...Whenever I feel depressed occasioned by much sadness, remorse, guilt and regret, this voice has worked as the medicine...
Earth - year 3212 : Technology reached to a point we travel to galaxies , Voyager 1 still wondering to the vast universe - mission "VOYAGER RESCUE" recruiting , we track down Voyager 1 - sending rescue spacecraft to grab it and bring it back to earth.Voyager 1 is finally back home again ..the feelings for the future people are .
If voyager 1 rescue ever happens it will be a triumph, for it will show our technology advancement, but at the same time it will be a disappointment to know that in all that space immensity, we did not find at least vestiges of intelligence life.

So will be the case with the guy in these posts who committed sacrilege by calling it "a lump of metal."
after 43 years in space it still hasn't reached deep space yet. Hard to imagine
It is a voyager, it's not meant to be bound by worlds...
Someday they have proof the other planets is they have also civilization life
Can I just say: I've been looking at videos about Voyager all morning. This is, without doubt, the very best one. Absolutely superb. You should be proud of yourself. Thanks and well done.
Imagine one day voyager re entering our solar system with no golden disc on it.
Followed by a giant freakin spaceship
That would be cool.
I guess it would have a green disc on it, huh?
Maybe fully upgraded with light speed.
What if Voyager take back to our home by the aliens
And replaced by another golden disc by another system of life

That's here
That's home
That's us
On it, everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their life.

Thanks a lot for the appreciation.

Not trying to ruin anything but if the Earth could someday disappear then so could voyager... something crashes in to it, it's gone. Nothing left for any civilization to see. I'd say the Earth is way more of a time capsule than voyager is.

And many arrogant people, by knowing some equations, and skills in numbers, will never realize how insignificant we are. The only evidence of mankind is Voyager that will say "We existed", but no more.

If this beautiful monolog by Carl Sagan doesn't bring some humility to someone, then that person is rotten at the core.
We ain't no rulers of the world, no masters of creation.
We are really meaningless in the scope of the universe.
Keti Mporta I completely agree!!
