Thank you God, for such a wonderful example in your son Jesus, and in your servants Saint Francis and Saint Clare, and their diciples. I pray that we are all one-trillionth the man/woman that they were. Thank you for posting this, this is the most beautiful movie I've seen thus far in my 23 years of life.
When Francis walked into the basement to see how the fabrics are made, he saw beggars and sick people work like slaves. I can’t help but feel that it reminds on Moses when he lived in Egypt.
Imagine that the situation is still the same in many countries now... When the inspiration to translate the movie into Hindi, came, it didn't even occur that today's Indian reality is the same, but the deeper I got involved, the clearer the parallel became. Gandhi's heritage at fair trading (see khadi), is being smeared.
I cant blame Francis for being horrified at the terrible working condition's His fathers servants go through. Full of cuts and sores and polluted air from the concoctions seeping up from the boilers. The lack of food and rest and vitimin D and possibly under paid as well and receive physical and verbal abuse from his father and task masters. But unlike his father, Francis was kind hearted and gave them some respite to his fathers dismay
Just 2 think. The day will come 4 me to c Frances and Clare when I get to heaven 😂😂😂 praise b 2 our king.

It brings tears to my eyes
When Francesco grabs the old man by his arms and the old man touches his face is my favorite part of this scene!!!!!
The old man is actually a blind man.
Judi Bowker - the most beatiful actress in the history of cinema. The ideal of female beauty :-)
Couldn't agree with you more. She is a goddess
The two babies are extremelly beautiful. They should got married and have children and that could be angels on earth
Young girl

Sarebbe stato bello se ci fosse anche solo un po' della pura compassione di San Francisco nei politici e nei burocrati giapponesi.
