The mind of Christ… I like that Father Mike. I remind myself, and then others, to think not of earthly ways but of heavenly ways. However, having the mind of Christ explains the mindset so much better.
An excellent sermon! It's challenging to live in this fallen World sometimes. We need to keep our focus on Jesus. Easier said than done when we listen to the news on the TV. I try to limit my daily dose of secular news.

Hmmm, I can really relate to Saint Gregory. I am strengthened in my time alone with the Lord but I admit to my shame within no time at all I am crying out once again with the psalmist "my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water." Ps. 63. 😞

Let me get this straight ... the world ruined and destroyed my life including robbing me of a human rights violation yet I have to pick up 100% of the pieces with the help of 5 people.
The world who did this to me for no reason wants us, Heaven, to save them including their children, in other words to pick up THEIR pieces for THEM. We did nothing to cause this while they do nothing to fix it, in other words repentance.
