Anne, do you have a favorite weight of tracing paper that you like to use ?
for tracing paper, they tend to not provide the weight compare to vellum paper but I only buy pads of Tracing papers (like this for example: amzn.to/3qlbxju ) as when they are sold as individual papers, I got a few that were more tissus paper than tracing papers … kind of a lie or lack of definition for “tracing paper” but those compagnies who sell the tracing paper in a pad format have a good weight in their papers. I don’t mind having different weight for my journals but I don’t waste my money anymore with the ‘not in a pad’ format papers. :)
Your work is beautiful but the volume is much too low. Had to get. Earphones to be able to hear it.
How fun, and talk about shabby chic, OMG, words alone cannot express how lovely these are and my desire to make a few. They would be a gift by itself without anything in it. Just gorgeous! I'm gonna have to pull out my laces and get busy. And that's a great idea using the rubber spatula to pat down the glue. I've gotta get one. Thank you for sharing. 🤗

Love your wedding dress appliques! Yes, it takes time to get the pieces you want, but the end result is well worth the time!! I, too, find doilies at local thrift stores. while the owners are happy to make a sale, they cringe a bit because they know that I'm going to be cutting the doilies into embellishment pieces...makes me smile! Beautiful envelope!!
So true! but with one doilies we make multiple more lives out of it :) ahah! :)

Hi Lynn, I glue it with the Art Glitter glue, just a tiny line of glue and only on the sides (no glue in the middle of the paper)

Your coffee dyed paper is lovely. How did you get the design on it? I am new at this and have never tried dying paper yet. Do you have a video on how you dye your papers? I so love the lacy touches. So shabby chic. 🥰
Hi Diana (what a beautiful name you have!!! :) ), I use vinyl plastic mats (apron, table cloth that are plastic and has real holes in ... mostly antiques!) . I did a tutorial video and you see them in the video for a visual of what they are (I found some on Amazon and in thrift stores) : ua-cam.com/video/T_twQkENzCc/v-deo.html
