My hair is so disrespectful. Nothing ever gets my edges laid, so I just watch and enjoy videos, cos even when I use the exact products, it still ends in tears.

Try flat ironing your edges and then laying them down with edge control then a blow dryer

2A grandma here of 4C little beauty... I'm clueless and don't want to be.... please help?! What types of brushes are you using? Do you use sprays, water, anything? I'd ask her mum but she doesn't do anything with it other than in a ponytail and I want to make it look as beautiful as I know it can be; her mum is white so I don't think she maybe knows how. ANY advice, PLEASE. I want to learn.
Goody detangling brush or wide tooth comb to detangle. First spray with water. Then put in leave in conditioner. Mielle, Aunt Jackie's are good brands that can usually be found in any store(walmart, target).To detangle- section the hair, then go section by section and comb/brush from the ends to the roots. Look at different tutorials of her hair type and age range and just style it however. Plaits/twist are pretty simple and a cute style for children and accessories can be added.
