I was born in LA in ‘94, I don’t remember a gate or a cone split in the middle but I do remember running down the hill as a child and worrying that I would run so fast that I would fly off of the hill like a Wild E. Coyote cartoon. lol my parents even bought me a sled for the hill. If you’ve lived in Los Angeles, you’ll know how crazy that is. This was my favorite park besides “Firetruck” park. I have no idea what the real name is but it had a stationary firetruck in the middle.

As part of the adjoining U.S. Army 'Combat Engineer' unit to this dune back in the day .....we owned it....and to climb it ain't nothing but to do it...!!! And I did so quite easily I might add...!!!

Trick when going down is to lead with the heel and sorta lean back, it’s more controlled.
