john mark single handedly ruined tnt and any other singing contest to me.. i hear them (contestants) and i say "nah, JMS can do better than that" so after a while i stopped watching TnT.

After Elaine's performance, i decided to start taking a bath as i thought competition was over. However, when johnmark sang the first 2 lines I had goosebumps so I ended up crying as I continue watching him perform. Such as a great artist.
For me, he rose above all others. Deserving to be the Grand Champion. Sayang talaga 😭😭😭😭

Both Elaine Duran and John Mark Saga are the champions! Niredefine nila kung paano ang isang singing contest. Pareho silang kumanta ng mga kanta na kahit sa panaginip ay di mo aakalaing kakantahin sa isang Grand Finals. They both have the emotions to relay the meaning of the songs, and the vocal techniques: the rifts, the runs, the growls, the falsetto, the high notes, the low notes. This is one of the best Grand Finals on Philippine Television.

My thoughts on their overall final performance:
JM sang his songs as beautiful as ever but his performance were, shall we say "underwhelming". It felt to me as if I'm watching not a performance of a lifetime, but rather just a random singer singing another karaoke song. I was disappointed because I honestly thought he could have done better.
Elaine's performance was solid and consistent but, to me, her first two songs were just safe. Thankfully, she ended her finale song with a bang! That whistle tone at the end signed the deal.
John Mark to me was really in the long run to win the competition among the three, but I spoke to soon because all of the three songs in his finale performance were stellar! It was one of those performances that is worthy of being in a finale of a prestigious singing contest. It reminded me back when Carrie Underwood sang "Angels Brought Me Here" during the American Idol 4 finale. It made me re-think and realize that he can still possibly win this.
I would agree with the judges that John Mark had the best performance overall in the finale and if we would base the winner on performance alone, he would be the clear winner. But I am not taking anything away from Elaine's victory. She deserved that win because, among everyone, she was the most consistent and did extremely well throughout the entire competition. Congratulations to all of them. They all deserved it. 👏👏👏

Yah, malakas talaga sana ang laban ni John Michael pero nauungusan siya sa song choice. Mananalo sana siya kung pangmalakasan talaga ang mga kanta nya sa medley at iyong tagos sa puso talaga tulad no'ng your love at unchained melody kasi malakas naman siya sa mga tao. On the other hand, I'm still happy for him kasi nakita ko sa kanya na inenjoy niya talaga ang last performance niya.
The best talaga ang Top 3 ngayong season, lahat deserving. But I must say na sa medley, si John Mark Saga ang nanguna. Damang-dama ko ang kanta at ang buong puso niya. As a fan of JMDC, JMS and Elaine, super happy ako para sa kanila! ❤️
As I've commented dun sa medley ni John Michael, he really could've done better. Okay naman yung Air Suppy medley wala nga lang gaanong angst compared kay John Mark at Elaine. If only inupbeat niya yung ending to Livin on a prayer or you give love a bad name at nagpakawala siya literally ng vocal techniques niya, baka naging mas sobrang dikit pa nito. But oh well deserving talaga silang tatlo.

I love Elaine (I am from Mindanao and my dad is from Butuan) but I was really rooting for JM Saga. Mula noong una niyang performance, nakakaiyak na hanggang sa medley. Damang-dama mo talaga ang emosyon eh. And when it comes to technicalities, waging-wagi talaga siya kaya hindi ko magets kung bakit ang daming galit na panalo siya sa mga hurados. Yes, the songs he chose is in the now pero kung hindi naman niya nakanta ng maayos, hindi parin magiging maganda ang performance niya. Isa yun sa strength niya as a singer, alam niya kung ano ang babagay sa boses niya, alam niya ang kakayanan niya as a singer.
I just hope na hindi lang sa TNT magtapos ang career niya. He deserves more. Heck! He even deserves the international stage.

I super agree that he's a world class artist. His singing style is unbeatable, very smart and unique. Amongst all the male singers here in the Philippines, he is the only one I knew with the most powerful voice. Both Elaine and John Saga I want them both to win. This is my third time watching his performance and I’m still crying. Knowing all the hardship that he went through to be on the place where he is right now. He literally built his fan base from scratch. He fought so hard to win all of our hearts and appreciate what kind of an artist he is. Seeing him so liberated and free makes me so happy. It’s been a year but I always going back here just to watch this performance. I don’t know pero there’s something sa pagkanta ni JM na everytime he gives the emotion at yung diin sa pagkanta naiiyak ako. I can feel so much pain, nasasaktan ako. John Mark is really a diamond he always make people feel what he felt when he sings. Dinadala niya tayo sa mundo niya kapag kumakanta siya. That is the reason why I admire him so much.
