Was a fan in early 70’s (George Burley, wymark, Hamilton, hunter, Beaty, mils, woods, etc) while with USAF at RAF Woodbridge. Excited to see them back on top.
United fan here… really happy for ur club and manager .. he has done well for us and you.. wish u guys all he success.. would be nice to see u in premier league.. good luck
Leicester fan here from Texas, however I'm beginning to think Ipswich really is the real deal... probably alongside the Foxes with the best chance to win the Championship. Methinks the matchup in December will be a deciding point between the Foxes and the Tractor Boys on how the title race might go. Also, exceptional presentation in your video. im australian and its great to see you guys doing so well that luongo got a call up for australia; i hope this success can transfer to the premier league!
As a supporter of a now dying Club, Colchester United, and putting rivalry aside its good to see a somewhat local team do well, The majority of my mates are Ipswich Town Fans, so despite the fact that it pains me to see you win, I do admire a fanbase that is proud of there Club to be in the position there in, I Really do hope something good happens to my club but at this rate im really not sure :(
Appreciate the kind words, but we’re not rivals haha. The beef is entirely one sided, most Ipswich fans I know have a bit of a soft spot for Col U since so many of our former players end up there
yeah, no offence but we really don't think matches between colchester and cambridge are a derby. although i have a soft spot being a town fan and having lots of relatives in colchester
To fully push on and go up again we need to invest again in January a striker who can score consistently is still needed , this is what we failed to do in our promotion push in the 2014/15 season when after beating Charlton around Christmas time we was top but the lack of key improvements in January led us to slip down to 6th let's hope we don't make mistake again uppa towen
Great little piece mate. Ive only been once the Leeds game we lost 4 3 but i wasn't that disappointed we are a DIFFERENT PROPERSITION NOW .WE ARE CONTENDERS FOR THE PREMIER LEAGUE. Could we have said that two years ago NO .WE ARE NOW Norwich WE ARE COMING FOR YOU RETRIBUTION TIME
With a 9 point and game advantage over 3rd place Leeds, it would now take a complete capitulation to not get (back to back) automatic promotion. Add to that one of the deepest squads in the division and arguably the best manager, I just can't see any other eventuality. COYB (P.S. I've just subbed to your channel)
I hate to say it, but there are still 30 games left in the season... You're only 33% through the season. Things can change, and too many upsets such as at Rotherham could cost you. (I was watching the Rotherham game in the away end with my uncle and cousin who are diehard Ipswich fans. It was madness when that 91st minute goal went in... Then broken hearts mere moments later)
I was actually relieved to see us lose to Fulham. 100% focus on the league! We dont need the squad stretched, first team players injured in the league cup.
Have been an Ipswich fan since I can remember ,,moved to Ipswich when I was 3,in 73,,,and then moved way in 79 after experiencing the fa cup win , a lot of the team lived in our village ,capel st Mary down the a12,Paul cooper was the main goal keeper and he lived right behind our school and gave out awards on sports day,my best mate lived next door to him ,we then moved to Norwich and my brother dropped his club for Norwich so we’ve never really got on since and now my sons a fekkin Norwich( supporter ffs,,,as much as I love the city of Norwich having then lived there for 20 odd years ,I have and will allways be a tractor boy .
Supporter since early 70s when we were one of the best clubs in the country.Still the greatest club in my eyes and finally heading back where we belong.
Nice video bro ill sub :) Town fan myself I make match day vlogs too Hugeee season this for us... i can't believe what im seeing with my eyes sometimes just how good we are
I have watched Town since 1960 when Sir John was Chairman and its the Chairman that influences a club...one way or the other....for Chairman now read CEO and Mr Bishop seems to have the neccessary qualities for us to propsper.I say prosper as I do not feel promotion this season will be good .I would rather wait, consolidate then push next year.
Okay subscribed,..hopefully we see you at the Emirates stadium next season ,..still holding a grudge over 1978 Cup final,...(honestly you should of won 5-0) but my football bias tells me we were robbed, the more the years roll by 😊
As a Leicester fan, I have to say, you lot are the only team in the league that scares me slightly. I would absolutely love to see you lot promoted, but just leave the title for us ... please... 🥺😂
I agree with Leicester, however I still think Ipswich would need to make some good signings in the summer window if they wanted to comfortably survive.
Mark Ashton was an absolute waste of space for us and Wes Burns was a shocking player for us, loads pace but thats it, nothing else. Just shows the manager is the most important part of any team because I dont think your squad is a top of league championship squad and still believe playoffs would be a great achievement for you. I expect Leeds to reel you in and take that 2nd spot. FairPlay though, just hope Liam Manning can do a similar job for us because Bristol needs a premiership club. Good luck for rest of season.
This isn't anything that unique or special really, it's been done before (although at this moment in time they've achieved absolutely nothing). If they get promoted they won't be the last team to do it either.
Found a poster of IPSWICH in a bin in 1976 in South Africa moved back to England In 78 won FA CUP and UEFA CUP in 79 they are my love, we will be promoted this year ITFC I ❤ U
We’ve started so well for a newly promoted side we look more like a side that’s just come down. Automatics looks likely but it’s a very long way to go. I would be gutted if we ended up losing out on automatics to either Leeds or Southampton but in the grand scheme of things, playoffs would still be a massive achievement for this club considering how strong the relegated sides are. This season so far has shown that we can compete with teams that should be in the Premier League such as Leeds and Southampton. To only be one place behind Leicester who should be near the top 6 of the PL is incredible and I don’t think anyone or any Ipswich fan for that matter thought we’d be this high up the league at this stage of the season. Let’s keep it up! COYB 🚜💙🤍
Absolutely. Getting into the playoff final even if we don't win would still be a massive success, and i've never seen us play at wembley in my lifetime so it's something I would really want to do. COYB!

And now they're promoted! What an incredible story getting promoted twice in a row and being in the Premier League for the first time in 22 years

@@jacobcurle8964fr! Reminds me of when Cambridge called our match the East Anglian Derby
Rivalry? Ipswich Town don’t care about Colchester United bud.

The ´´U´s´´ have always been somewhat in the shadow of IPSWICH but live in hope. Football is , as they say, a ´funny old game¨¨'.
Dropped a sub for a fellow town fan, and what a time it is to be one.
Im a plymouth fan but a relative of mine supported ipswich so i support both i hope ipswich gets that promotion would mean a lot
Respect. I have no relations that are Plymouth but wish them success as they won the league without the money we had. Both clubs have class managers.
Great quality vid, you deserve more subs! I will be a fan from now on

I still remember that promotion day like it was yesterday and also when i fell onto the pitch 😂

Nice vid! As an Indonesian, I'm very happy with the rise of Ipswich Town because of Elkan Baggott🙃

100% agree
I disagree our squad is strong enough for cups and cups develop confidence of the fringe

Good luck to the Tractor Boys, there's no reason why they cannot emulate the success of Luton Town.
Very early days with norwich leeds away, Leicester to come in December if we are still 2nd by new year that would exceed my expectations
All gonna be tough games (although I do think we can batter Norwich) but with this squad and their mentality, I can see us winning a couple of them
Top analysis 👍

B.) Sheff Wednesday being utter dogsh-.
Wednesday are pretty much relegated already 😂
