Hi, hi! I'm a friend of your mom, who knows I am going through a similar thing. (AFAB non-binary, been on T now for a little over 4 months, currently trying to get insurance to approve me for top surgery later this year.) I wish I would have done this at your age instead of 20 years later, but you know, it's never too late. :)
I also found that being on HRT improved my mood and significantly lessened anxiety.
They have gel and the patch as well, if that helps at all. So I started on low dose. 11 months later, nothing much happened and my T levels were like 115 and I never stopped my period. So keep an eye on your levels. My doctor told me that was too low. So I went from 2 pumps to 4 (20.26mg/pump) and FINALLY I’m seeing some changes and my brother told me that my voice sounds much lower. Yay! Congrats on your journey!
