"Tab will be up soon!" YAAAS. I've been struggling with the part at @ 2:15 for awhile now.

Only reason I'm here is the Uncle John's 4-ply Bathroom Reader in the background

Hi what are some details about how you achieved this tone? Please please please

I think I was using free plugins in Reaper for this one. I remember being unhappy with the tone overall, but it sat in the mix fine so I went with it. Here's a pic with all the plugins I used and an example of tone settings:

holy shit dude! how do you even get something like this by ear? and that tone those almost identical to the album's!

***** hehe this one isn't by ear, I learned it from Dan Gargiulo. I don't know if I could be that accurate with all of those playful chord voicings.
The tone though, I got by tweaking my plugins in Reaper. Surprising what you can do without an amp nowadays!

just learn all the inversions of major, minor, and diminished 7th chords (along with their extensions) and you'll be good! that alone has elevated my writing to a new level, very insightful knowlege

Superior as always! You're my favorite youtube guitar player so far. BTW, since we're namesakes, I've been wondering for a long time if you speak Russian. If not, what's the story behind your name?
