Two Feedbacks: 1) Forget technical & tactical, this is not even football training. 2) Too much of talking. Players are there to play & learn, not to stand, listen and watch on what to do & how to do. Let the players experience, they will learn gradually through repetitions.
Three feedbacks: 1) you didn’t watch the full video after the activation warm up. 2) you saw 15% of the total session where kids took dozens of repetitions of the technical components and all of the tactical play was cut from the video as this video is made for coaches to listen to the coaching points and objectives. 3) our job as coaches is to educate, accelerate learning and guide them to discover things for themselves. Would you let your child attempt their times tables and keep getting them wrong without stepping in, helping, teaching them the fundamental principles and revising their mistakes as they go? If you think that all things to be learned on a football pitch can be learned merely by playing football, you’re likely to reduce the peak potential of a child and definitely won’t accelerate their development.
Nice session. Had seen the ball bouse fun drill before. But u showed how to bring variation to it also. Thanx for the video.
Thanks Ralph! Give it a try and come up with some fun variations too!
