Prophecy of the Völva - Völuspá in swedish

A reading of Erik Brates 1913 translation of Völuspá / Prophecy of the Völva from icelandic.
The prophecy of the Völva is the most famous poem in the old norse Poetic Edda, which survived from the viking age.
The poem tells of the worlds creation from the body of the giant Ymir in the vast nothingness of Ginnungagap. How Odin and his brothers created Ask and Embla, the first humans, on a desolate beach. And how Loke, one day, will cause the death of Odins son Balder which will bring about the end of the world, Ragnarök.
In the left field is the prophecy of the völva in old norse text, old west norse or "norrönt" if you want to be specific.
I also added some small explanations of special words that might would be interesting to know.
The translation was retrieved from Heimskringla.no in 2017.
