I've found that most of the "fangirls screaming" are because they are singing along to the music. They don't sing along if they don't have a loud sound system.
I love Kirstie and it just appears how she is happy to sink into background singing in these early videos. She STILL shines, but NOW she belts like Scottie and Mitch! To me-as a composer and pianist- Kirstie, to me personally, is the one in whom I’ve seen the greatest growth! There is no shade on anyone in PTX! The band is the greatest on the globe!

Mitch seems shorter than 5'10", as he never really towers over Kirsty, does he? Anyhoo, I'll be meeting them soon, so I can report back. I can also get specific inside leg measurements on request ;o)

Which he would be if they're 6'3" and 5'11". Also, Kevin is 6'1" so should only look 2 inches taller than Avi. Conclusion: Avi needs heels... ;o)
+churde It sounds nice... but, for example, you don't get Avi's bass line very clearly... and the highlighting of whoever it currently soloing suffers a bit because the accompanying harmony tends to overwhelm / unbalance... versus having a competent sound engineer... balancing the pots.
They were showing respect and actually listening which I for one thank them for. Usually at live performances quality suffers more because the audience won't shut up and let them sing.

Ironic that he’s won 3 Grammys, toured the world, sings to sold out arenas, can out-sing most people (women included) but has to go back to his own high school where he was once mercilessly bullied for his voice to get teased. It’s no wonder it took him so long to embrace who he is. 😢 Mitch may not have heard you, but the kids sitting around you did. I realize this comment was made 8 years ago but "proficient for their age group"? Amazing is the word and for any age group. You go into a classroom having to deal with all the memories of being in that very room as an awkward high school student, be asked to sing songs you normally don't sing together, especially since you are there to record Christmas music, and sing like that. Dare you. They are very much beyond "proficient ".
