I am in London, living in zone 4 and working in zone 1, travel cost is around £250 + and lunch cost is around £100 a month. Commute time is around 3 hours (door to door). Let me add my pennyworth, You will have to compromise with salary if one choose to move somewhere (such as Leamington Spa) being in work for London based employer. Because living and working in London award you a London allowance. If my salary remain same then I will certainly prefer to move out :)

I recently moved to the UK and I was in London for 3 days. It's an amazing city but obviously as you said it comes with a cost. I am in Cambridge now and struggling to find indian food.
Yes there are pros and cons of living in London so it comes to what you prefer !! Indian food can definitely be a struggle in the beginning but once you start cooking it yourself it will be easier 👍🏻😊

What is the difference of mortgage vs rent? I have watched some videos of some financial gurus who advise against buying. Confused now.
Mortgage is like EMI of your house loan and rent you might already know.. Mortgage you get from bank (house loan) when you buy a house !!

Hi Gaurav, my husband is an IT professional for 16 yrs now in Pune, working with a MNC (BODS Expert and team leader).I am a British citizen with an OCI, married to him, stuck here since 2018! Is there a way we can move back? I have worked for 12yrs -10yrs with the NHS and 2yrs with other companies. How to get there? Should I go there and start working, save, rent a room and sponsor him? We have a mortgage to pay in India, so leaving a job and moving there without his job can be risky. Should we ask his employer to send him? Pls suggest.

( Family house rent + per monthly expanse= 2.5 lac ×12 = 30 lac + (Tuition fee + post work permit er jonno 16+7= 23 lac) + (health insurance + medical + embassy fee near= 5 lac) +( IELTS coaching+ 2 times exam + E0R + Uni application fee + others country admission fee+ consultancy fee = 2.5 lac) + ( Air Ticket 3 lac)+( UK house rent Advance =3 lac )( UK settlement+bd shopping with UK little bit furniture + others= 3 lac ) Total laglo:- 30 lac + 23 lac + 5 lac. + 2.5 lac + 3 lac + 3 lac + 3 lac = 70 Lac , but 1st e sunecilam 15 lac e complete.
