    Aaron, I have been watching since 2018. Please bring back hunt breakdowns, please! Even the failed hunts were good, i.e the Missouri hunt with you and Zach where you jumped a buck out of the river bed.

    Great video. THP and the Hunting Beast are my top 2 shows to watch. Love that you guys are so real and show it how it is. At 74 I love hunting but probably should not be hunting from the side of a tree so I live those hunts through your lens. Keep it up.

    I discovered THP very early on in their UA-cam journey and believe they were still affiliated with Midwest Whitetail at the time. Being an old Iowa boy, their stuff was a huge improvement over those who were pushing their whares via unrealistic food plot hunting on the outdoor channel. I stumbled onto this Infalt-Beast guy a year or so ago while searching out some THP stuff. Lucky me! Great content from you all. The best.

    The Hunting Beast and The Hunting Public! Awesome podcast guys. Would love to see a THB and THP Sweatshirt !!! A THP "where's he bedded?" buck on the back and a THB "let's go get that buck!" With Dan's face on the front! Or a Hat with THP and THB letters on the sides and a big buck on the front!

    I may be in the minority but I enjoy the mystery of what may show up while hunting. And I don’t care for seeing a camera way back in the mountains of public land I hunt. It almost feels like I’m being watched. I just want to hunt and sometimes I like to put an hour or two in a hike to where I’m hunting. I’m not saying I’m the only one who has hiked to a spot to hunt it, but the time it takes to make that trip and effort it takes I know not many go in that far. I hate the fact somebody is watching that area with a camera and watching me. Get rid of cameras in public land. Go back to basics with reading the land and the sign.

      I completely agree! I talk about this with my buddies all the time. All of this technology takes the sport and adventure away from hunting. Hunting should be about developing and putting your woodsmanship skills to the test.At least it feels more rewarding when you do end up being successful. Also, I couldn’t agree more that the anticipation of not knowing what could be coming from the next ridge over is the one of the most exciting parts about the experience !

If you come back to Michigan, love to hunt with you guys.

    Being completely honest, I think the camera argument for the nay sayers isn't thought out terribly well. I think there is a bit of hypocrisy that they often don't see. Most of these Anti camera people are hunting with guns at times, some are even using crossbows shooting 450 ft a second. Tons of them are shooting compounds with state of the art arrows that are shooting 330ft a second. They probably all or mostly all hunt with muzzleloaders. The idea that technology is suddenly destroying hunting because of cameras I think is a hole ridden argument. Rifles, compound bows, crossbows and muzzleloaders have killed far more deer than a camera is responsible for. Bad hunters with guns will kill more deer than bad hunters with cameras. It's a double standard. If you're only using a traditional bow with wooden arrows hunting in flannel, then sure, maybe you have an argument. Thats just the weapons and not even talking about custom camoflauge, scent lock everything, ozonics, and the list goes on and on.
    As far as success rates, I rarely see someone shoot a buck because of their camera. They may know the buck is there. But it's not like they get a picture and walk out there and shoot it. Less than .001% of hunters do that.
    If you want to talk privacy on "public" land. Sure.. but it's public and it's not necessarily meant for you to go and have privacy on.. it's meant to be used by the public.
    There always seems to he something that hunters have to go after. It's been crossbows for the longest time. Now it's cameras. And strangely, I still see the best hunters shooting big bucks like Dan had shot 2 Booners on public the last 3yrs. There are more deer and bigger bucks than ever. Cameras aren't ruining the population.
    I just think that it's a change and people are making judgments based on emotion and not reason.
    You want to limit them to a certain amount per person on public.. I wouldn't argue that. But to get rid of them entirely is silly and not based on good arguments, in my opinion.

      You don't think it's weird to have a video taken of yourself by someone you don't know when you're 2 miles in the woods? It's always made me uncomfortable. The regular cams aren't as bad because at least the guy behind the cam didn't just get a notification that second as I'm standing there in "his" spot. That's so unsettling.

    • @PBAdventures146
      @PBAdventures146 5 днів тому +1

      @gordonneverdies well it's not "his" spot.. and personally I don't. It's not like people with cameras are serial killers and if they get a video of me I wave and keep moving. I've personally never heard of an altercation between two hunters because some guy got a picture or a video on his cell cam on public property. I don't think some guy is getting picture on his cell cam and rushing to the property to fight a guy that's legally there. I got one picture of a hunter last year on my cell cam. To me I used it to my advantage to not hunt in the area. That's just me.
