The moment I heard Mango say J ho I fell out. I adjusted the name and it became Jhoe. I use that as one of my monikers. Everyone thinks or pronounces it as Joe. No one as ever guessed or figured out that it was adapted from this sketch. Ta da!
Chris Kattan was easily one of the most underrated SNL cast members of all time.
I dunno why people can't admit this --- him and Cheri Oteri made the late 90's cast pretty memorable

I disagree that he was underrated. I lived through this era, it was understood he was greatness
I agree he was funny af wish he did more movie
He sucked. He was a cry baby. He would try and throw better talent under the bus. Norm tells great stories about the guy pretending he isn’t gay. His characters were super annoying. This cast was the beginning of the end of Saturday night live, where it went from smart comedy to comedy geared to the lowest common denominator.

Chris Kattan was a gem on SNL. I never knew that accident hurt him so bad. He is such a physical comedian. You never know when it gets you in the right place, doesn't matter what you do. Hope he is much better, I do not see much of him anymore. His characters had me in stitches many times.
He was just at a local theater near me last weekend doing stand up. My friend invited me a few days before, but it was too short of notice for me to go.
He sucked and his comedy was for dumb people. It’s why his career is dead.
What happened to him? How did he get hurt?
I was just reading up on what happened with him, and that's so scary and horrible! I hope he is doing so much better now. I always thought he was hilarious.

Jlo really seemed to genuinely enjoy herself on the SNL set. I have never seen her as silly and free in her entire career than when she did SNL
Don't forget she started out as a Fly Girl so this probably felt like a return to her roots on TV.

@@katashley1031 Rosy Perez was not one of the dancers just choreographer for In Living Color. Just wasn't sure if you already knew this, Jlo also a Diva from the start and only lasted a season or two. I grew up watching it and loved it so much. Fire Marshal Bill will forever go down in history.

I’d argue SNL in pre-COVID 2020 was great, but the new season in fall was quite hard to watch.

I think JLo is a bit underrated on her improv. Even if she prepared for this skit beforehand, it was basically flawless. Even the regular actors aren't always this on point.

This was one of the few times, and I mean very few, where a guest host went full force into the skit with physical activity. Seeing Kattan and Lopez play fighting in the dressing room was hilarious but then they rolled onto the stage! And Tracy Morgan trying to split them up like a mom with her kids 😁
J.Lo brought it letting her gorgeous body, and brains, be seen in a different light!
