Really appreciate the separate cymbal demos! I really dislike when the demo is just the player playing along to the track, and we don’t hear the isolated cymbals. They sound great too (:
Bought the set on Thomann and, to my surprise, they included an 12" splash (not adverticed anywhere). I'm mixing those with my Rock beats. Really happy with Zultan. I'll stick with them for sure 😊
I recently picked up a second hand dark matter ride in 20 inches and i absolutely love it for both metal and jazz as it is quite versatile and nicely dark and warm sounding
@@gamebred1910 I played them last week for the first time actualy. The crash is great, easily the best sounding out of the pack. The bell on the ride is also to my liking. If you like a heavy ride with a dark sound, this is the one. It's loud and can cut though the mix but It doesn't crash though, too heavy for that. The hats are also very dark and heavy. I usualy like my hats a bit brighter but for the rock genre we play these work. I'm looking to buy another 18 inch crash to add to the set and maybe an fx crash. Totaly worth the money if you're looking for a dark sound.
I've had these a few years now, they're great, and open up to high volume really easily, the video doesn't get across how loud they are imo, great cymbals.
Son muy gruesos? Estoy buscando algo rollo zildjian k light, pero si fuesen mas como unos A new beat tampoco me desagradaría, mas ya no. Busco sonido foo fighters/dave grohl.
Playing on a dark matter set (15HH, 16C, 17C, 16SC, 12S, 20R) that I like a lot, I am looking for a 17 or 18 crash with a brighter sound to add some flavour and versatility that will work well with the DMs. I have tried a 16 Aja, an 18 Aja and a 16 Q but I am not really convinced. What series would you recommend with the DMs ?
Hmmm...! The DM series alone has a lot of character, so it will be difficult to find something that has 'even more ping'. You might like the F5 series!
Got the Dark Matter Pro Set and I love it! Gonna add the 18" China and the 14" Splatter Crash soon. Btw. there was an extra 8" Crash in the pack for free. Go on this way, Zultan!
Hey Tommi, you say that they're great for hard rock and metal, some reviews say they are for light rock and acoustic or even jazz.. You say they are bright but tbh they sound the same pitch or even lower sometimes than the mellow Caz's.. For the appropriate styles thing, I'll give that e.g Zildjian K's are used in a variety of styles but you know, I'm confused. Maybe listing some indicative weight would help. Give or take always, because they are handmade, but nonetheless, because they are meant to be bought without listening from up close. As always thanks for these videos, your immediate responses, and your great prices and quality.
Yes well you can use these cymbals almost in every style, but they are medium cymbals so maybe better for Rock, Heavy etc. also because of their looks. We have had many questions about the weights of the cymbals and we will try to get them so that it would be easier to choose a cymbal without actually testing them.
Damn I see Zultan becoming my go to brand. So many great sounding cymbals.
Pro sound for half the price!
🤩🤘

Thank you!🙏
My favorite with the Dune and Raw... Awesome sounding cymbals, pro sound for half the price.
Also, nice swell!
Thank you!💎

My favourite series out of the whole like, and dune
🔥🔥
Can't wait to play these next wednesday! Ordered a set today because of this video. Big sound for a small price, and great look too.
What do you think of them when they arrived? I'm looking to order them this week so I'm very curious! Would really appreciate an answer.

@@Mancunian4 thank you for the answer so much! Still thinking between that set, and meinl classic set haha, always a tough choice buying cymbals...
Kind words thank you!💪
I'm pleased to know these are good for harder (louder) situations because through my headphones they also sound very pretty.
Oh yeah... You can bash the living out of them!🥩

Dark Matter is hands down the most underrated line. I think the 16” and 18” crashes sound better than any others you make at that size!
Underrated... true!
Fantastic sounding cymbals. If I may I they also look really nice!
Good sounding and looking!
Me flipa ese set, acabo de comprar el Hihat de 15" ESPECTACULAR

Hola. estoy pensando en el 15" yo también, qué peso tienen respectivamente por favor?
What about the snare ? And this Ludwig ? Thanks for the vidéo !

Which set to play blues, latin or " light rock ", please ?
Easy... Caz or Heritage!
F5 or Dark professional edition for heavy metal thrash metal?

What set has the least sustain?
RAW Series!
Needs more camera angle changes
😂
Love your cymbals! But the dark matter series is not my taste to be honest.
