    I just ordered one for myself! I've loved watching your videos for a long time and can't wait to see how it works. I'm normally a Vortex guy, but I love supporting real hunters who care about their products. Greetings from Canada and keep up the great work.

    It should be mentioned that the FFP Helix's reticle is very difficult to see between 6-12 x magnification. So much so that I returned my FFP Helix and exchanged it for the SFP version. The center dot should be SFP and thickened. The general overall crosshair should be thickened as well. Be warned that the reticle thickness is simply too small between 6-12 magnification. I typically shoot between 40 and 50 yrds.

    Interesting presentation. So far I have only used scopes from Kahles. My favorite is the K318i which is quite expensive, right now around 33,300 SEK or 3300 US dollars. Element scope's model Titan can be a sensible option on a rifle. I'm pretty sure that there is a lot of difference in optical quality between a China-made scope and one from Austria

    the Helix I’ve been waiting for the ffp model. I have the Element Nexus. And it’s best scope I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned Nightforce nxs. So I know quality when I look through a scope. On my next build it’s not my competition rifle just a target rifle. Helix looks perfect for my needs. Matt Duber you should be proud of the team on bringing quality scopes to the firearm sports. Great job. My Nexus is my baby. Lol. Thx ELEMENT OPTICS. Bryan W.

    On Cyclops reviews, the Titan had a bit of POI shift with change in focus. Is this present in the Helix FFP? and if so how much of a concern is it especially for shooting at longer distances?

      Bought it. And sold it within a week. Overhyped overmarketed. Optic is only good at low magnification. High is not useable at all, makes dizzy. The parralax focus is way off. 1% inaccuracy as advertized is not true. I sold it in indonesia fx group. And turn out few others that bought it due to the “hype” are dissapointed. Buy hawke, is Much better value than element.

    Hi Matt. Congrats on the new venture. I am considering the Helix FFP. Can you give me your honest comparison of it with the ARGOS BTR GEN2 6-24×50 APMR FFP IR MIL. How do the two compare. I am based in Durban and would obviously like to support local but some guys have advised me that the Athlon is a better way to go....I do mainly hunting and now and then a bit of target shooting. Probably wont shoot further than 500m much...

    • @JDG506
      @JDG506 3 роки тому +1

      These turrets wont move easily. Mine takes a bit of effort to dial. Once you have set them to zero, it is quick to see if they moved. Secondly there is the zero stop that makes it so much easier to return to "base"

    • @ElementOptics
      @ElementOptics  3 роки тому

      Hi Ryan, please email us and we’ll be happy to work through this! This is a common problem with airguns, we find that the barrel is often not well aligned with the scope and this forces the erector tube to the edge of its travel. It may be that you need an adjustable mount.

    It's a shame as the scope has some nice features. Sadly the parallax adjustment is not good and the knob is so rugged it tears your fingers trying to use it. Perhaps if they bring out a gen 2 I might consider trying in the future
