so great set to follow but i would suggest using stun block on round 1-3, been stunned by storm lord to many times throwing the run, but for people who want a list on the rounds shield - any round 1-3 shield - any round 1-3 Stun block - any round 1-3 sprite - round 4 guiding light - round 5 cleanse charm - round 6 cleanse charm - round 7 Sanctuary - round 8 Death Dispel - round 9 Pierce - round 10 Dryad - round 11 hopes this helps anyone that wants to wright it down on note pad or anything to help keep track.
yeah you'll notice toward the end of the battle I have 2 stun blocks left in my spell book. They just happened to come up last in this particular battle otherwise I would have put one on sometime during the first 3 rounds like you mentioned. I am also up to 175 outgoing heal now and decent crit. That helps in case of a late mana burn or I've even killed before with a -45 on me during the hit as long as I crit and have one or two buffs on. One of the keys is to remember to switch to a death pip for just one round for the dispel. Even with all that, I was only successful about 25% of the time. Fun stuff though when it works.

It appears KI didn't like me soloing this battle so they changed one key feature that prevents me from doing it now. Pierce no longer removes the -80 heal shield on round 10. It simply doesn't work anymore probably on all heal wards is my guess. Would have to come up with a new solution.
Took a stab at this solo myself and was wilding when my strat of using shatter didn't work, because I'd have sworn that's what we used way back when I quested this with friends when it came out. Eventually I threw the towel to see if any legends had a better strategy than me and I have to say, this would be it for sure. So far, I've found that earthquake still does work, but the two extra power pips really hurts the chances of doing enough damage. Definitely hoping to find a clever way to get around that!

Here is the gear setup. hat - primordial aeon helm with life outgoing and crit pins (21%) robe - spooky carnival suit (19%) boots - rocker stompers (24%) wand - silver order of the spiral (24%) athame - edge of the shadow web with two outgoing 8% jewels (37%) amulet - luphilim's rapture pendant ring - seal of the fifth column (35%) mount - mammoth mini (2%) deck - supreme old judge - for generic crit pet - any one with healer and medic talents (12%) Add them up and it gets you to 174 but with rounding on the pet talents it shows 175. The key is the life outgoing pin on the hat for fire (21%). Not all schools can get those. Life Crit rating is 225, life accuracy is 100% and power pips are 111%.

Was able to pull everything off after hours but on the final round where I dryad, I fizzle... This game is an actual joke. Horrible game design
