    Part 19: • John Salley Disagrees ...
    Part 21: • John Salley Reveals Mi...
    Part 1: • John Salley on Watchin...
    --------
    In this clip, John Salley recounted being a member of the Lakers during the Shaq and Kobe era and watching Shaq dunk on Yao Ming. He described the sheer size of Yao who was 7’6 and well over 300 lbs and how he couldn’t fathom having to guard him. He also detailed why playing for that Lakers team was his second favorite job because he got to hang out with Shaq and Kobe, and he only played every 5 games.
    Later, Vlad asked John Salley about filming scenes in “Bad Boys 4,” where he said he “got to spend time with my friend, Will Smith.” After saying that he’s “happy for Will,” Vlad jokingly asked if he slapped anyone, which led to John speaking about Will traveling the world after the Oscars incident. John stated that Will said it was the best rest he’s ever gotten, and he spoke about Will gifting him a book that changed the way he thinks. From there, John and Vlad discussed Chris Rock’s stand-up special, where he went at Will and Jada. John stated that Chris handled the slap better than most people, including not retaliating with violence.

    It wasn’t the slap that changed my opinion on will smith, it was that whole red table talk where his wife told him to his face that she cheated on him with his sons best friend.

      @flyguy7825 Рік тому +21

      Bro you act as if Will Smith didn’t know what was going on before red table talk and it just popped into his mind you really think he confronted her red table talk the very first time not knowing what was going on I think if he had to take it all back he would I think they both thought that if they addressed it on the red table talk that it would go away or set the record straight because there was rumors for a while that there was something going on between her and August I think she just kind of wanted to set the record straight along with Will, I don’t know how that would change your opinion on him I mean how many men out there cheat on their women and get confronted in a very violent way.

      The Rock didn't tall shit aboit his wife who was SUPPOSED to be tight with that little back stabbing bastard.
      Chris Rock KNEW she was going through issues with alopecia and he went there.
      That was a low blow and the producers TOLD him not to do those jokes because it was in poor taste giving 4he situation and his home boy was getting the Lead Award...dont be tasteless.
      Notice Denzel, Tuker Perry and the BIGGER Ovons were not down on Will for what he did, they actually talked about how he was going theoigh something neyond just that night..they were NOT cool with what Chris Rock did because THEY knew it was tastelessness and hebwas warned about that..he did it anyway....so grown man grown consequences and these people and comedians who think WILL was wrong..are the reasons why people like Chris Rock gets coddled.....

      I can’t look at him the same anymore either but for me it’s this whole Chris Rock slap thing I never would’ve pictured Will Smith slapping someone on stage especially someone who’s meant to be a great friend of his and not only that but on one of the biggest nights on Earth and humiliated Chris and if I didn’t see it happen myself and instead somebody else told me about it I wouldn’t have ever believed them under any circumstances considering the type of man Will is or at the very least is meant to be
      But everyone makes mistakes even Will and it just so happens that he made one of his biggest mistakes ever on THE biggest night on Earth ever and humiliated himself as well especially since it looked like Jada was given him the side eye after the G.I Jane joke and Will shut tf immediately and stopped laughing meanwhile you could tell Jada was like “You better not laugh in fact slap him and defend me” or like “you better slap him for disrespecting me or I’ll slap you” 🤷‍♂️ Although that’s not the only reason it’s also got to do with the whole entanglement thing and I’m just thinking like “this is the man I looked up as a child seeing him in movies? Pathetic” also is he even still a man after that whole thing? He seems more like a bitch now to me

John then says it has changed how he thinks. So yes by his own words it did take him to be this age before he realized awareness and the butterfly effect. Otherwise why would it change how he thinks? That’s called deductive reasoning genius. Clearly you dont have that skill. Fam you are out of your league fucking with me. Go read a book.

    • @TheSwordfish009
      @TheSwordfish009 Рік тому

      @Speakers the first suicide squad was regarded universally as trash. Watch that back to back with the sequel. Idris Elba defacto takes his place as lead with a similar type of character. Look at outclassed Will Smith is by Idris. You can also tell that Smith once again pressured the studio to force the movie to be about only HIM whereas Elba's character arc was well balanced around the other characters. That's why it's cut so awkwardly whereas the sequel is perfect.
      Will Smith gucks up his own movies like this. That's why MIB 1 is good and the two sequels are trash since they made him a big daddy bad ass character next to an actual worl class actor like Tommy Lee Jones.

    • @TheSwordfish009
      @TheSwordfish009 Рік тому

      @Speakers We are talking about comparing to the quality American CLASSICS that he did such as Men in Black 1, Independence Day, Fresh Prince, Bad Boys 1. This was pre-ego trip Will.
      Ever since then his movies were either garbage or passable including Hancock (he ruined it from not wanting his image too dark) and iRobot and I am Legend (the best of the mediocre category).
      His taste is so poor he chose doing After Earth over such an important movie such as Django Unchained that won Oscar's filmed by the legend Quentin Tarantino.
      Making bad movies is perfectly fine but for him to sabotage his own shit that people pay for its ridiculous and poisonous to the industry and waste of the audience's money.

He took the biggest night of the year. Most viewed to insult this blk womans hair in front of allll these wyte folks. After she had just put out a video crying about a disease that so many others suffer from. And He took deliberate shots at jada. Wasnt even in his routine. He snuck it in at the end maliciously. Same guy crying about his own disease he suffers from. Alll for these wyte folks to snicker. Got what deserved. Ppl more concerned and critical of a slap than they are about these mass shootings in schools and gun control.
