Mariabad basically is a place where the Hazara Community lived
They are all over famous for thier life style like most of their papulation are highly educated, skilled in sports and moreover they are very much concious about cleaness of their homes, streets,cars and living area.
Many of them are my close friends and i am very impres from them and their life style.
Thank you for appreciating us brother, but it’s not only Mariabad, in this area , Haji Abad, Nichari, Syed Abad, Momin Abad ,the main road is Alamdar Road.

It's disheartening that Pakistani politicians have failed to ensure basic security and necessities for them.

They are so many interesting things Alamdar Road ,so many famous personalities in Alamdar Road, next time when you visit there ask from the people about late Dr Jumma ,then you will know about that unsung hero of hazara community. He worked alot for his people. He was chairman of Milao Shaheed trust , it was first rehabilitation centre in Balochistan. His medical practice was 35 years .

The irony is, the so-called peace-loving Pakistanis who have been posting about Palestine for the past couple of months now never bothered to raise their voice on what's going on in their own countries, their own home. It's disgusting, shameful, and utterly pathetic that we fail to stand up for our own and only chase topics that promise an ounce of social media clout. My comment may hurt many but behind our killings in Quetta Pakistan Army is involved, Firqa Wariat hai but not in that scale, we have been killed by state sponsored gangs like Lashkar jangvi which they have claimed clearly in their speeches very openly, and to divert attentions from Baloch missing persons they played with our blood more then 2 decades, 3thousand people have been martyred and above 4K is wounded and badly damaged both physically and psychologically. Amid all the chaos they created still we think that blood can not be washed with blood, we believe in peace, we believe in future and to make a great and better community to live and let live.

I would like to rectify some terms here. The Hazara locality you showed and talked about at 00:24, 00:31, 01:27 are all from Mariabad, Alamdar Road, Quetta. Mariabad lies in the Eastern part of Quetta city. Whereas Hazara Town lies in the Western part of Qetta city along two major arteries/roads such as Brewery road and Kirani road. Another mention of Mariabad comes at 06:15 which is mistakenly/wrongly termed as Hazara Town.
I sense that for some people it is easy to call both areas as Hazara Town since Hazaras reside in these areas in majority, but for the sake of rectification it is better to call them by their correct names.
At 04:56 dr. Zamurrad mentioned that "chunke enke Bohot* sare log bahir rehte he." I will rectify this false statement which has been spreading the same way she is spreading misinformation by giving such irresponsible statements. Our people still mostly live in Quetta as compared to foreign countries. Few people have migrated to foreign but not majority* of people, as added/commented by dr. Zamurrad. Local marketers have spread such misinformation inorder to gain unrightful profit. Still amongst all the non-resident Pakistanis abroad, you will find majority of them to be Punjabi, Pathan, Sindhi or Urdu speaking. You will find Hazaras abroad but not in majority. People out of necessity sent a member or two of their vast-family-system in abroad. And not-majority* of our people live in abroad.

P.S: The part about charging Hazaras more for daily usage products is true in its nature. But the unrightful act has started by spreading misinformation or creating a propaganda that Hazaras have more money in the shape of dollars. Such injustice has spread vastly when they are taken on a lighter note.

Being a resident of Quetta for the last 23 years, i can proof that the "FACT" that she mentioned (4:50) is totally wrong and biased, that Hazara people had to pay extra money for Vegetables in the local market because they are earning from Abroad. THAT IS A LIE!
it is the truth i came from australia last year and was shocked that rates were totally different from mariabad and main bazar in quetta also. had to pay extra for medicine

Thank you Junaid Akram for this too short video on Hazara community. It was good that you started by showing us the graveyard, and mention how those buried here are so young. This highlights the ethnic cleansing and persecution our Hazara brothers suffer from other Pakistanis on the basis of sect. I constantly tell people that C in C of Pakistan army, Gen. Musa was a Hazara Shia. This persecution is a new phenomenon and i hope it ends after videos like yours. It is sad that great artists have been forced to go to Australia. I have interviewed Hazara youth at college admission time and we all agreed they were bright, intelligent. It was sad they left their hometown to come to other cities so they could get education safely. May the Hazara live in Pakistan in complete peace without discrimination of any kind.
