@@matthewchunk3689 why are people so fixated on having perfect teeth? What did his new teeth change or help him achieve? I'm just curious because I've never really cared how others' teeth looked. True: It is a superficial concern but how your teeth look is related in people's minds to hygiene, attractiveness and status. Plus, having sore teeth just sucks. Getting my teeth fixed felt like a 10 ton weight off my chest. @@dominikaksiazek7177
@@dominikaksiazek7177Because Justin mentioned it on his podcast. How getting his teeth fixed made him feel more confident and secure. He is a singer after all and people do look at his face, mouth, teeth etc when he is performing.

I am late to discovering Justin Hawkins and pretty much through his wonderful blog but holy shit this guy is one cool hard rocking rocker. And he plays a pretty good guitar with the vocals to go with it. A true rock star! So few of them exist anymore. Rock on SIR Hawkins. You have a (new) fan for life! (P.S. I bought all of the Darkness albums because of you so go buy yourself a burger with the proceeds😁)
The Darkness is a band that always sounded awesome to me and I loved how they seemed to be channelling various rock gods like Led Zep or Black Sabbath. I was never really a big fan though, but, I too got more interested in them after watching Justins YT videos. These guys have been around for a few decades now but they're clearly still having fun and entertaining huge audiences. Hopefully I'll drag my lazy arse off the couch one of these years and check em out live.
Same here, I dismissed them as a novelty band back then, probably like many. Discovered his blog, loved it, which made me take my prejudice glasses off and I discovered a really fun rock band.
Great fun. Proper musicians who don't take it too seriously. Makes me think of seeing Rod and the Faces in the 70s. Great live entertainment - ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!!!
My daughter was at this gig. Her first festival experience. First thing she said when she got home was "Oh my God, dad, THE DARKNESS!!!!! The BEST band live, you have no idea'"!!!
Justin is such an effortless rock star. He barely looks like he's trying, yet he sings his ass off perfectly, plays the guitar amazingly, and basically just rules the stage. ROCK ON!
"Until all of you are bouncing, we won't commence our most famous song." The huge brass ones it would take to say that to a crowded room...how can you not love the guy.
Saw them when they first came to the states, and they proceeded to blow the strokes right off the stage! Absolutely great live band to watch. So much fun.
I remember when thing called love first got airtime & I was F^€√in FLOORED by that rockin KICKIN tune!!! 🤘☢️🤘im really glad to see justin still kills this live.ROCK-N-ROLL...
Seeing The Darkness live should be a bucket list event for all..They are pure entertainment with talent to back it up..I see them every time they come to the Toon and always leave laughing ..and slightly deaf
went to see these in my home town of leamington spa and i have to say i was blown away by how brilliant they were,What a lead man Justin is he was a combination of freddie mercury and russell brand,he had us in stitches all night,i was expecting a 6 or 7 but truly they were 10/10 so if you ever get the chance go see em!
"BOUNCY BOUNCY" as we used to say in the "Barrowlands"...nice to see Justin try to get the same feeling in Sydney...you can feel the floorboards bouncing in a rockin' way!.
To this day, the greatest live performance I’ve ever seen was the Darkness at the Tabernacle in ATL when they were touring The Permission to Land album. It was also one of the loudest shows I’ve ever been too. Blew my ear drums out for days.
How did I see an awesome future? I witnessed this on 9/12/2024, 21 days before this concert, according to the video title. If this is true, I have so much hope for the days ahead in my life. Thank you, The Darkness!
Covered this most famous song as it first was on the radio- had to- great work all of you and Justin so glad you are happy and strong in will and had teethwork and live the blog - so good u guys
Love The Darkness for their- Wonderfull Stage Presence. it just makes a great show and event !!!!!! Not many bands can command this stype of stage act anymore unfortunately.
How in the hell did I miss this tour completely? Had no idea they were playing in Australia! Saw them last year (I think) in Melbourne, I would have bought a ticket to in a heartbeat.
Never been a fan but you gotta respect that live energy and Hawkins really knows how to play a crowd. As I said, not a fan of the music but I know i'd still have a good time in that crowd.
Being sober for so long was sooo good forJustin. Good, to see him ride again, and again, and again.
getting his teeth fixed was a good investment too. glad he got himself together for what should be the best years of his life.

Hot Cakes is very underrated. They did it old school with a lot of live band tracking and it shows.

I don’t think people realise just how good of a guitarist Justin is 🤘
he sings, he plays the solos, name 3 other Classic rock frontmen Who did it
Really? You obviously don’t play then!

You got to see Rod With The Faces!! 😮😮 that is so awesome. I’ve been spinning those records for the last few weeks. Super underrated
You’re kidding, right?
Lmao Justin takes himself so seriously it's fucking comical, he's such a clown anymore
My dude, Love The Faces! They don’t get enough attention.
Justin being ridiculous is what makes the whole thing not too serious. It’s all a goof for fun. They’re in on the joke.

Beautiful guitar tone and he's still nailing those high falsetto notes too. Legendary.

Justin walking and jumping around the stage just so he can get his 10,000 steps a day in.
Justin’s got the classic rock voice. Killer sound and what a range.

Go watch a real band play it

Such a fun rock band. Jolly good show Darkness.
Omg that guitar tone ❤❤❤❤

Strokes were decent but Justin was just too much energy as a frontman.

First saw The Darkness supporting Def Leppard over 20 years ago in Brixton. I remember their set more than I do Def Leppard's.
