JFC! Wine (I think it's wine. Scotch?) and cigars on the balcony of a city enjoying the night sky in another galaxy.
    That's the dream.

I think it's Scotch, or whiskey.

...too bad he used a Zippo to light that cigar, though. Maybe he likes the taste of gasoline.

From weasel to a lovable character, Woolsey had some really good character developement

Never a weasel. Strict, bound in protocol in an almost painful manner. But also, always, attentive and intelligent.

I liked him in Star Trek Voyager as well. I especially liked when he took on the ECH role however rare that was but either way I liked him.

Woolsey brought to the Atlantis expedition what they lost when the lost Weir, someone who was expert in negotiation, who could read a room and figure out what game was being played and how to win. Atlantis had the fighters and tacticians and scientists covered, what they needed was a diplomat who could see the big picture.

This is one of the greatest character developements in movie series history. Not that Woolsey was an asshole to begin with - but they refined him in an almost impeccable way.

Hello, I was wondering what happened to your Stargate playlist? It seems to have disappeared for me, did you delete it?
    You have a great channel.

If you had to pick just one faction to try and develop diplomatic relations in stargate. Who would you pick.
    Some options.
The Goa'uld, Wraith, Replicators ( either Pegasus or Milky Way but not both), Ori, Genaii, Aschen, Free Jaffa, Tokra, Ancients, Nox, Asgard, Hebridan/Serrakin, Lucian Alliance, High Council of the Coalition of Planets, Eurondans, Langara, Ect... ( I've probably overlooked several factions)
    Edit added: Tolan, Furlings

I would probably pick the Hebridan/Serrakin If I were to chose one besides the Asgard. They are a high tech society willing to trade tech fairly easily. Open to diplomatic and likely trade. They are unknown to the major threats in the galaxy. Though I wouldn't count on military support from them.

You missed the Furlings. As for my choice, I think I'd go for the Nox. Their technology is one step below magic, they can literally raise the dead (without all the nasty sarcophagus side effects) and I think if you could prove to them the Tau'ri were mature and enlightened enough to trade tech, it'd be a huge win.

A lot of those are the bad ones and have their faults
I'd probably, maybe choose the most peaceful and neutral one?

    • @Frostek20007

@@asvarien Not gonna happen. The Nox are pacifists. Tau'ri are a warrior race at the core. If they were given Nox tech now, they would use it in a way the Nox wouldn't like. Even with good intentions. The Tau'ri need to develop such tech on their own, driven by the need for pacifist tools. Their own drive has to be a peaceful one, before they can use such tech.
