Holyfield fought everyone, unlike Bowe and tyson and I came up a tyson, Morrison and lennox lewis fan, but to holyfields credit he ducked no one, and fought so many wars against the best of the best, would've liked to have seen him fight whiterspoon only because he fought everyone else
Briggs & Klitschko knocked Mercer out, albeit an older version, later on in his career. I had Mercer two rounds up before the knockdown, it was Holyfield's rally in the last two rounds that saved it for him.
Mercer was doing really good up until the later rounds, where Holyfield took over. Would have preferred to see Tyson vs Mercer before he got a shot at the WBC title.
Tommy Morrison was on the juice and his trainer told Mercer let him wear himself out and then knock him out and that’s exactly what happened. Holyfield is not on the juice and if Mercer thinks that he is he’s mistaken.
Un combate de desgaste, en el cual, Mercer tuvo sus opciones en los primeros asaltos de la pelea, pero la resistencia y mejor condición física y técnica de Holyfield, le permitieron , ganar con cierta claridad la pelea, a partir del 8 asalto hasta el final. Es bueno mencionar, Ray Mercer, físicamente se notaba, falto de ritmo y utilizaba la trampa de falsos agarres y caídas para ganar tiempo y aire, porque sin duda , estaba bastante limitado de resistencia. En suma, en mi opinión, justa victoria de Holyfield, que mostró mejor posición en el ring!!. Yes Holyfield would often do that during his peak years, the sign of a great fighter
Yes it was very close for the first seven rounds but Holyfield sucked it up as he often did in the closing stages.

Tommy Morrison didn't realize that he punched himself out and was caught and knocked out.
Holyfield has a soft spot on the side of his head and a couple times when he was punched by Riddick Bowe he fell down
He should have known not to hit Morrison, the guy was almost dead.
Perhaps the most roided boxer to ever grace the ring? Evander had skill and a lot of heart but also a lot of help from the juice.
