1. We should not tolerate this type of company that doesn't paid tax. 2. That company doesn't provide health insurance or either benefits. Example: SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-ibig. 3. We shouldn't tolerate a company that doesn't care your value/worth. 4. Being charge a penalty without informing the teacher. 5. Cancelation and absent They will charge you multiple than you'll earn. 6. Unapproachable TM. In other words, they don't deserve our dedication and commitment at work. FYI. I got better performance during my tenure. I hate the way they treated us.
I agree teach! Me as well. Ang ganda ng performance ko and i have a regular student, sudden bookings. But, in just one absent, at hindi naiconsider ng TM, naging magulo na 🙁 But still, thankful at binigyan nila ako ng experience 👍🏻
for the government benefits, hindi naman talaga pino provide yan kapag ESL kasi freelance work naman talaga yan. The problem with Acadsoc is they restrict you from working for other companies eh hindi ka naman nila "employee" (where you are provided benefits). and ofcourse, the inhumane rate per hour.

Sad to say some of pilipino teachers have forgotten that we've labor laws. Nag papagamit tayo kahit alam natin na ina-abuso tayo ng iba.
This is so true! I was also a victim of unjust policies ng school na to. Not to mention I always have 5 stars whenever I teach and ang reason nila for not considering emergency absences is “all tutors are new at first but many have good data and not tardy just like you” I dont have any cancellation of classes, i dont have late, i enjoy teaching even if madami sudden bookings. 1 month lang din ako. And my TM is inconsiderate. They cant be exploiting these tutors while we do our job well. Lahat ng protection nasa side nila and sa side ng tutors wala.
James Chu Same teach! 5 stars ako almost lahat ng students. Its just that ang hirap talaga pakiusapan ng TMs nila. It will take days or even weeks para makapag respond sila sayo. Parang mas priority nila ang mga students na mag eenroll sakanila kesa ang mga tutors na mag tuturo para sa incoming students.

Been with acadsoc for almost 2years. 1st esl company ko. Still thankful dahil sa experience kay acad, naging stepping stone ko to apply sa novakid. Now I'm happy with novakid :)

pansin ko lang ha.. ang baba ng tingin nila sa mga Filipino teachers. Though may mga native teachers rin na nagcocomplain sa Acadsoc, pero yung treatment sa mga non-native... ay naku para tayong hindi teacher sa kanila. Teaching is a noble profession, tapos ganun lang.. mas mahirap pa nga ginagawa natin eh compare sa ginagawa nila.

Same here -255php and my rate is just 85php per hour. Worst ever. Beginner here. My TM just book me a classes without me knowing that was feb.12, 2021, then I found out feb.15, 2021 that I have class absences. So, penalty. I beg for justice but nothing change. Because they didn't guide me what to do. I keep asking my TM a lot of questions about how, what and when but the TM's answer is out of nowhere which is not even helpful. And I came to the point and asked my TM are you a robot or a human? What is your role as TM? After saying those, all her responses has make sense now. But still I want to experience teaching online, so I must try it. Because I already give much time and effort to pass the TESOL and their course test.

Sobrang bait po ng una kong tm pero nagresign sya ng pang 4th month ko. may time na kailangan ko ng coe to apply ult sa ibang company, pero unresponsive dn ang acadsoc. so i contacted my former tm, kung anong pwedeng gawin kasi may contact pa kami, basically we became friends tlga since nung 1st day ko palang sya naging tm, super bait nya. dun ko nalaman na kaya pala sya nagresign dhl di nya rn kinaya ang pamamalakad ng company. sya na mismo nagsabi saken na hndi maganda ung company, pati daw sya di makakuha ng coe. kaya tinulungan nya ako sa coe ko. she was even happy for me daw na nagresign nako dun. i'm still grateful naman sa acadsoc kht papano dhl naging stepping stone ko sya at madami akong naging chinese friends which is ung mga students ko na patago kaming nagkuhaan ng wechat account hahha pati ung tm ko, may contact kami thru wechat. i did good kasi i was promoted as a trial teacher after a week tas nirefer na agad ako para maging top tutor, so I became top tutor sa acadsoc, pero naging pressure lng sya saken. ung una kong tm, as in, tinatanggal pa nya ung penalty ko para lng makuha ko ung attendance bonus. tas nung nagkapenalty ako ng 1k, ginawa nya lahat ng makakaya nya para mabalik kht ung half manlang. pero un nga, nagbago lht nung nagresign sya. kht thankful ako sa acadsoc, still it's not a worth company. I know I deserve better sa sahod palang, ang baba na. eh grabe ung effort ko sa isang klase palang. lht ng mababait na tm nagresign na daw sa acadsoc, un ang sabi ng mga dating nagwork dn dun. naiwan nlng ung mga walang pusong TM. Pero now I'm happy with the company i'm working for. share ko lang dn. haha. for newbies, I actually recommend acadsoc just for u to have experience, then after maybe half a yr pwede na kayo lumayas dn jan. tiisin nio nlng. kasi pagkaresign ng tm ko, gusto ko na dn magresign. pero inisip ko nlng ung experience na makukuha ko para makakuha ng mas better na offer sa ibang company. this is all i can do para sa mga nagbabalak mag apply sa acadsoc.

Yes po, but i chose to just leave their company. Parang hindi naman din worth it ipush pa hehee! But you can try as well for experience din po. Wag lang po talaga malalate or absent kasi super hirap ayusin. Magiging abala. 👍🏻

Hi! Worked for ACADSOC way back in 2018 and I must say, I loved the students but ✨HATED✨ the company! 🤗 1. I had the most petty, most narcissistic TM ever. At first naman she was okay, kahit nga day off niya ginaguide niya ako. BUT, when I fell from the top 5 tutors, she basically ignored my concerns lol. She demanded that I buy a generator para daw kahit mawalan ako ng kuryente, makakapagturo ako. She's good at gaslighting too! 🤗 and yes, THEY'RE VERY UNRESPONSIVE SA MGA TANONG MO pero hey, they're quick to message you if may mali kang ginawa! 🥳 2. Swerte po si ate kasi 90 pesos starting niya. 80 po ang starting ko, binabawasan pa nila minsan due to internet loss na OBVIOUSLY kasalanan ko. Internet provider ako eh. 😂 3. Late ang salary minsan. 😌 4. Acadsoc is a chinese company and they look down on us lol. Underpaid and underappreciated. Hard pass. 😍

I applied in this company before, way back 2017. They rescheduled the interview twice and during the scheduled time, they kept me waiting for almost an hour. What a waste of time, so I decided to just quit. I was just curios about it coz of the ad, but I was an ESL/Test Course teacher in HELP until this pandemic strikes us all.
Me having demo tomorrow I refuse to attend because they said we have to phrase the kids even it's wrong how can you be full energetic in very low salary and fake company they are just using Filipino and pay short money because we know their money is big here. Me as Filipino I don't tolerate this . Mas mabuti pang turuan ang mga kapwa Pinoy kesa sa ibang lahi na grabe tayo laitin

In my case po kasi ininform ko nalang yung tm na mag reresign na ako then sinabe ko reason bakit ako aalis pero walang acknowledgement na tinatanggap nila kaya umabot sa point na sabi hahanapin na daw ako ng pulis dito sa pinas 😅
Ako po nung nakapasa ako sa training nag chat yung TM namin sabi niya ibigay daw yung Tutors name as well as yung TUID Nang ibigay ko yung akin nag antay ako ng oras na dapat para sa final demo ko Pero nung time na yun walang lumabas na parang student daw tapos ilang oras akong nag antay hanggang sa ilang araw nanamn naulit nag chat ako sa TM namin di pa masyado nag reresponse tapos muntik na magalit. Tapos sinabi ko uung totoo tapos yun na nga mga 3 araw akong nag antay sa demo tapos sasabihan lng ako na di daw ako na book sa class. Irita ako tapos ngaon na nakapag final demo ako di pa nakapasa I did my best butb its not enough for them para matanggap. Nakaka dissapoint lahg din ang ACADSOC eh

But by God's grace first 2 weeks na experience ko na ang penalties nila after 3 weeks umalis agad ako and applied to other company and bless to have a great students and compensation. Ang 3 weeks ko sa acad 3k and sa current ko is 4k for 4 days🤣😂 . I could earn 7-9k per week weekly ang payment and take note part time lang ako.

Yeah you're right teach very unresponsive talaga nila and I noticed that they don't give a damn to us tapos parang ang sakit lang ang dali Dali Lang sa kanila mag bigay ng penalty points and as of now nasa 350 na po yung penalty ko tapos 1st day ko pa naman yun and hindi muna sila nag ask Kung bakit haysss actually 1 week pa lang po ako sa Acadsoc and parang gusto ko na mag quit hayss

After ko di tumuloy sa Acadsoc, nakapasok ako ng 51talk til now pero wala ng booking sa mga chinese companies even maganda ratings mo. I suggest look for Vietnamese ESL po, mababait pa mga bata. 😊

Kaya ako di na siguro ako magpapatuloy. I just passed the demo pero nakakahurt ng feelings talaga yung pag trato nila sa mga applicants at regular employee nila. Ako kasi napaka rude ng Interviewer ko. Magandang trato ba yung nagsasalita kapa sa mock demo mo pero binara kana at ganon ganon lang ok nadaw tsaka yung tone ng pagkasabi nya napaka rude, btw Jon name nya. Tsaka yung trainer na nang iignore ng replies. Sayang lang pagod pero okay lang pang experience pero tama na yun ayoko na magsayang pa ng effort di nmn worth it si Acadsoc non.
The company perse is so suck, low rate and if you got absences they will charge double or triple which is higher than your rate per hour, take note per hour and not per class...so nagresign then ako, and if they will say about police, baka ako pa magkaso sa kanila sa Dole for not indicating the salary on the contract plus the teaching points policy...

I believe that's true. Pera kase nawawala nag rerefund ang companies and syempre bad feedbacks sa student wala na un lilipat na students sa iba. Madami pa naman sila competition
But you see, as was shown on the video, she was messaging her "supposed" TM to consider her absences or what not. To make it short, she was trying to inform her TM but her TM was unresponsive at best. So where do you even get help if the person who is suppose to help you is not even responding?

Sobrang bait po ng una kong tm pero nagresign sya ng pang 4th month ko. may time na kailangan ko ng coe to apply ult sa ibang company, pero unresponsive dn ang acadsoc. so i contacted my former tm, kung anong pwedeng gawin kasi may contact pa kami, basically we became friends tlga since nung 1st day ko palang sya naging tm, super bait nya. dun ko nalaman na kaya pala sya nagresign dhl di nya rn kinaya ang pamamalakad ng company. sya na mismo nagsabi saken na hndi maganda ung company, pati daw sya di makakuha ng coe. kaya tinulungan nya ako sa coe ko. she was even happy for me daw na nagresign nako dun. i'm still grateful naman sa acadsoc kht papano dhl naging stepping stone ko sya at madami akong naging chinese friends which is ung mga students ko na patago kaming nagkuhaan ng wechat account hahha pati ung tm ko, may contact kami thru wechat. i did good kasi i was promoted as a trial teacher after a week tas nirefer na agad ako para maging top tutor, so I became top tutor sa acadsoc, pero naging pressure lng sya saken. ung una kong tm, as in, tinatanggal pa nya ung penalty ko para lng makuha ko ung attendance bonus. tas nung nagkapenalty ako ng 1k, ginawa nya lahat ng makakaya nya para mabalik kht ung half manlang. pero un nga, nagbago lht nung nagresign sya. kht thankful ako sa acadsoc, still it's not a worth company. I know I deserve better sa sahod palang, ang baba na. eh grabe ung effort ko sa isang klase palang. lht ng mababait na tm nagresign na daw sa acadsoc, un ang sabi ng mga dating nagwork dn dun. naiwan nlng ung mga walang pusong TM. Pero now I'm happy with the company i'm working for. share ko lang dn. haha. for newbies, I actually recommend acadsoc just for u to have experience, then after maybe half a yr pwede na kayo lumayas dn jan. tiisin nio nlng. kasi pagkaresign ng tm ko, gusto ko na dn magresign. pero inisip ko nlng ung experience na makukuha ko para makakuha ng mas better na offer sa ibang company. this is all i can do para sa mga nagbabalak mag apply sa acadsoc.

Nakakamiz mga regular student ko. Balita ko rin, nagbago ndaw Acadsoc, nung time ko po sobrang ganda tlaga ng Acadsoc, wala sa kalingkingan si 51talk. By the way, so cute po ng baby nyo. God bless

Yes po, but i chose to just leave their company. Parang hindi naman din worth it ipush pa hehee! But you can try as well for experience din po. Wag lang po talaga malalate or absent kasi super hirap ayusin. Magiging abala. 👍🏻

1. I had the most petty, most narcissistic TM ever. At first naman she was okay, kahit nga day off niya ginaguide niya ako. BUT, when I fell from the top 5 tutors, she basically ignored my concerns lol. She demanded that I buy a generator para daw kahit mawalan ako ng kuryente, makakapagturo ako. She's good at gaslighting too! 🤗 and yes, THEY'RE VERY UNRESPONSIVE SA MGA TANONG MO pero hey, they're quick to message you if may mali kang ginawa! 🥳
2. Swerte po si ate kasi 90 pesos starting niya. 80 po ang starting ko, binabawasan pa nila minsan due to internet loss na OBVIOUSLY kasalanan ko. Internet provider ako eh. 😂
3. Late ang salary minsan. 😌
4. Acadsoc is a chinese company and they look down on us lol. Underpaid and underappreciated. Hard pass. 😍

I applied in this company before, way back 2017. They rescheduled the interview twice and during the scheduled time, they kept me waiting for almost an hour. What a waste of time, so I decided to just quit. I was just curios about it coz of the ad, but I was an ESL/Test Course teacher in HELP until this pandemic strikes us all.

I experience this also 😬 .. But by God's grace first 2 weeks na experience ko na ang penalties nila after 3 weeks umalis agad ako and applied to other company and bless to have a great students and compensation. Ang 3 weeks ko sa acad 3k and sa current ko is 4k for 4 days🤣😂 . I could earn 7-9k per week weekly ang payment and take note part time lang ako.

Yeah you're right teach very unresponsive talaga nila and I noticed that they don't give a damn to us tapos parang ang sakit lang ang dali Dali Lang sa kanila mag bigay ng penalty points and as of now nasa 350 na po yung penalty ko tapos 1st day ko pa naman yun and hindi muna sila nag ask Kung bakit haysss actually 1 week pa lang po ako sa Acadsoc and parang gusto ko na mag quit hayss

@@essaalonzo9527 you can join po sa mga ESL groups sa fb lahat po salihan mo, then don ang daming hiring. Yun nga lang mostly ng mapapasukan mo if palarin ka is start up company palang. After ko di tumuloy sa Acadsoc, nakapasok ako ng 51talk til now pero wala ng booking sa mga chinese companies even maganda ratings mo. I suggest look for Vietnamese ESL po, mababait pa mga bata. 😊
And pag Vietnamese company, regular students unlike ng booking system na di pa sigurado ang salary mo 😊

Parang hindi nila binibigyan ng worth lahat ng employees and sa mga magiging employee nila. Sa interview palang ang hirap na macontact what more kapag nag start na and then plotting na ng schedules. Ang hirap talaga sis! Have you tried other companies like Rarejob? :)

Kaya ako di na siguro ako magpapatuloy. I just passed the demo pero nakakahurt ng feelings talaga yung pag trato nila sa mga applicants at regular employee nila. Ako kasi napaka rude ng Interviewer ko. Magandang trato ba yung nagsasalita kapa sa mock demo mo pero binara kana at ganon ganon lang ok nadaw tsaka yung tone ng pagkasabi nya napaka rude, btw Jon name nya. Tsaka yung trainer na nang iignore ng replies. Sayang lang pagod pero okay lang pang experience pero tama na yun ayoko na magsayang pa ng effort di nmn worth it si Acadsoc non.

The company perse is so suck, low rate and if you got absences they will charge double or triple which is higher than your rate per hour, take note per hour and not per class...so nagresign then ako, and if they will say about police, baka ako pa magkaso sa kanila sa Dole for not indicating the salary on the contract plus the teaching points policy...

I believe that's true. Pera kase nawawala nag rerefund ang companies and syempre bad feedbacks sa student wala na un lilipat na students sa iba. Madami pa naman sila competition
But you see, as was shown on the video, she was messaging her "supposed" TM to consider her absences or what not. To make it short, she was trying to inform her TM but her TM was unresponsive at best. So where do you even get help if the person who is suppose to help you is not even responding?
