I am doing some work to the lower trim and adding a Splitter, I will be sure to add. This summer I plan to swap out the rear end to a 3.45 from a Camaro, I will have video for that. I will be adding my entire exterior, engine and exhaust video soon.

I found a v6 g8, will i have any issues sourcing the console and shifter from the v6 g8?

I really hate the floor shifter placement for the early Caprices. I like the '14+ cars better for the column shifter.
How much would you charge to do this for someone?
Don’t have the time this work anymore, I would not do this job for anyone due to the risk of messing up someone’s $1000 radio on install. I do all my work but I can only get mad at me if I mess up something. Not hard to install though, all plug and play.
Did the LCD display in the cluster blue from the factory or did you modify it

Is your tap function , working active or you disabled it
Did you move the shifter to the center or is still on the left side of the console?
Moved it from driver to center.

I would have to do some digging. I do have it on my NewCaprice page, I believe the link is in the description. I do remember I brought it off the LS Xtream site.
How does the shift knob come off?
U have to pop the shift lock button off and there will be a screw behind to remove the rest.
The is some wires that you have to connect, definitely not plug and play but not a big job.
Would u be able to send me instructions or a pin out on where to connect the wires so I can use the sport shift feature? I can’t seem to figure it out or get the rite pin outs!
If you follow the links on my center console video, there is one that has the build I followed on new caprice forums. That’s where I got the pin instructions from there.
