Nick is a huge underdog and I love seeing him do well. The "bye" was goated lmao.
He is getting better. His move to IGL is working out better than i thought it would as well. He definitely had the communication skills but he is pooling Gents game knowledge very well.

Gotta give credit for Deeds too, he didn't let himself get overwhelm, allow Nick to wrap around. It's well play by those 2.
Nick working into that steady IGL role has befitted them a good amount. Gent can fry out and usually plays smart with individual positioning to pick up trades well. Deeds is a little demon hopped up on GFuel who just puts out damage and kills. Like a rabid pitbull on a leash. Nick brings steady focus and direction to keep everyone on the same page and is a competent enough player to fill in the holes of positioning. It's been working for them pretty well and they've kind of found their groove. Regardless of how people feel about them, they're a fun team to watch and it's going to be cool to see if they can keep this level of performance steady.
Nick is getting so much better . haters will still hate tho. thats facts

Nick is a very decent player. People clown on him because he's probably technically the weakest player in the pro scene, but the man has some pretty good game sense and his aim is solid. Also, lets not forget that without Nick on the team most people just wouldn't be that interested in Tripods. Unless they brought in another truly top tier player and starting winning things, they'd most likely just be another also ran despite Gent and Deeds being very good. The man brings views, not just to Tripods, but to Apex as a whole. People can hate on him, but I think competitive Apex is in a better place with him in it, even if Gent and Deeds are doing the heavy lifting.

Idk about him bringing more viewship to Tripods/Apex.....His own teammates can't even get 1k people in their stream combined meanwhile Nick averages 20k. His viewers are there for him and only him.

I have been watching Nick since his gears of war days and I do watch him occasionally here and there. I don't understand the hate for him. Mechanically he might be the weakest player but game sense and knowledge of games transfer over from many years of gaming plus he was playing competitively for a lot of years.

@@sethadams3464 They have the best position, Last squad are in the worst position possible with no valk or horizon. This was never winnable for them unless LG ints tripods or they full swing on nick and knock him before deeds kill them all from up top lol

He’s used a peacekeeper before. He was playing rank back in S13 and Hal pulled up in with full health and full red armor while Nick had full health but no armor and put Hal down easily. Cry more though, I guess.
