When we are learning a language there are 2 basic activities we can do.
Use educational materials like grammar books, online courses etc OR
we can use authentic materials, which are materials that focus on your hobbies passions and interests!
In this video I share a little of my experience learning different languages.
Too much "educational materials" is like eating broccoli every day...
In this video I talk about how we need to examine our study routines and activities.
Learning English or any language is a process that requires time and this process is much easier is you are HAVING FUN!
That is a fundamental question for me with language learning, are you having enough fun?
Are you exploring your hobbies, passions and interests with English or trying to force yourself to read books and textbooks you don't enjoy?
Think about it.

Astounding video as always, thank you Terry. Frankly saying I completely replaced reading with listening and I love it. I think for today I have more educational videos on my diet than authentic ones, but I feel like taking in native speakers better than yesterday, cause educational videos are in English too😊

I think one of the best ways to improve writing is if you can practice talking about your personal interests.
If you can find whatsappp or facebook groups about your own personal interests, not related at all to educational materials.
That way you can try to have a conversation in writing about something close and interesting to you!
