Hierdie maak my hartseer. Ek was op pad om een te maak, maar was in Nylstroom oor Kersfees, en my vrieskas in die garage het toe gebreek. 40kg vleis, gone. Ingesluit was 2x gemsbok fillets, en 'n gemsbok sirloin (Rugstring) wat ek in Mei gejag het.
Hi Ben! Baie jammer van jou groot vleis verlies. Die Gemsbok rugstring sou perfek gewerk het. Hoop dat jy die resep binnekort kan maak en geniet. Groete

It’s such a crowd pleaser! Especially impresses those who have never had it of course. For anyone reading these comments, I cannot stress how important it is to follow every step, and perhaps even safety check the temp of your oven. This dish relies HEAVILY on attention to time and temp. When this meat is over cooked it really ruins the dish completely. That said, it’s fine to experiment with filling!
After all the food I've eaten this past week, I'm never, ever eating or drinking again -- but this looks really good, even now. 😂
