Troy, Thanks so much for showing how the van is made. All those behind the scenes things that you don't normally see. Ken liked the robot welding and the plasma cutting, so impressive! Thanks Kerry and Ken
Wow Troy that chassis and suspension looks amazing how it’s done. You have definitely inspired lots of people to look at this Great Aussie Caravans now. 👩🏼🌾🧑🌾👍
Thank you Troy, I was in amazement at the level of technology used to make the suspension by Teko, the welding and cutting was mind blowing, really appreciate the effort you went to arranging the detail and the walkthrough , the interview with the owner taught me so much his understanding and acumen was next level. Once again thank you for allowing us to be involved in yours and Laura’s caravan build just so very exciting 👍👏 cheers Darrel
Thanks, Darrel. l was also really surprised myself. it was nice to see how it all works. To hear the right information from Kobus, the owner was invaluable 👍
Hey Guys , We have the airbags TEKO in our 2024 Great Aussie and just completed 10k's , your going to love it leveling up the van is a dream.. Loving your Vlogs keep up the good content ..
@@JourneyUnknown no problem, we got the level3 so we have to manually set our travel heights takes less then 2 minutes ,the way we set is there is 2 marks on the awning rod one for black stuff and 12mm ish higher for off road explained to us at hand over . I havent seen on level4 2 different heights for the auto level height, having said that after watching your vlog the owner said to not adjust for different road conditions maybe we were given wrong info at hand over , could be worth asking if off road and obviously travelling slow can you manually raise a little could come in handy
Yes Troy. We have TEKO air bag suspension in our Snowy River and I will agree, once you have it you will never go back. It has taken our experience to another level. Love your work.
Wow that was good to watch our new van will have air bags it’s a no brainer for us we should have ours in late February. We just missed you guys at Perth we flew in the next morning we hired a campervan to head down to lucky bay and Esperance keep up the good work Troy doing a good job mate
Mesmerising watching the tube cutter..I sold and installed and serviced units like this…as well as a types of cnc..am now retired but it still blows me away as to what they can do!..Another great video!😁
We have their level 4 suspension on our van, it’s awesome. Not only that, but their support team are excellent. I called once with a simple operation question because what was in their manual was slightly different to what our dealer told us, they explained everything super simple for the end user. The only thing I will suggest to you is to carry a couple of spare air fittings of the different types under the van, we found one had cracked at some point and we couldn’t get tank pressure to level the van for travel. Fortunately that only affected tank pressure and not the actual airbags. Most hydraulic suppliers carry the fittings used and they are super simple to replace if you have a failure (which will only ever happen in the most inconvenient place possible of course)
How awesome is your access to the manufacturing. Yes you could watch the plasma cutter for hours. Oh and famous last words " we will keep this van for quite a while" 😂😂😂 Three vans later
Great boys own video. Would be keen to know if Great Aussie certify wheel algnment on their new vans. I have experienced a misaligned independent suspension when purchasing a new van from other 'reputable' manufacturer. Looking forward to seeing your new van and hopefully make it to your farmstay next year when heading east from WA. 😊
Cheers, David, You would hope that every manufacturer would do a wheel alignment from the factory before it goes out. Sounds great. we hope to see you on your travels 👍
Hi Troy Interesting video I too have tuffride suspension on my van with airbags Different van manufacturer but the principle it’s the same I have noticed that they don’t include jacking points on the arms I’ve got my manufacturer looking in to it would be interested to see what they say to you if you ask the question cause you wouldn’t lift the van from the body only from the arms I believe Let’s know if you find out Great video thanks for shearing it
Yes I know CruiseMaster has them but I couldn’t find any on my Teko so my van had gone for a service and they are trying to find from Teko what’s the go I love the suspension it’s a game changer also the disks mine it’s a single axle Cheers Gabriel
Oh no, not another channel selling their sole for the caravan sponsorship deal. This is something I didn’t expect from this channel, but then again the amount of commercials they have had in the last couple of episodes, should have seen it coming.
Yeah, Not true. we're not sponsored, we don't sell merch, and we don't ask you to buy us anything. if anyone watches adds on our channel, we get get paid. Thanks anyway
@jwoods6585 We purchased the van off Great Aussie, which once it's built and paid for, we'll show you what we paid. if you need to know how much the suspension cost go on their website. they have all different levels. We have no sponsorship with any company.
Would like this fitted to our van but don't know who can do it in Adelaide. But iam prepared to go to Victoria with the van for a holiday to get it done cheers
Troy, Thanks so much for showing how the van is made. All those behind the scenes things that you don't normally see. Ken liked the robot welding and the plasma cutting, so impressive! Thanks Kerry and Ken
Thank you, Kerry & Ken 🙏. it was nice to learn a bit more about the suspension and showcase something different 🍻
Wow Troy that chassis and suspension looks amazing how it’s done.

Thanks, Paul 🙏. hopefully, everyone can get some information out of the episode that helps them out 👍

Perfect 👌 thanks for sharing. it's nice to see we still have a few Aussie made products built locally ❤️

The extended time I am sure will be well worth it in the end
They do say good things come to those who wait 👌 😆
You will not be disappointed with the airbag suspension. We've got Cruisemaster suspension but Teko should just as good.
Thanks, Tom. we're looking forward to testing it out.

Hi Richie, Our new van will have both 12vlt and 240vlt. 3000watt inverter.. We will have 400 lamp ithium battery w and 800 watts of solar. 👍
@@JourneyUnknown thankyou Troy love watching you and Laura if you ever make it to Cooroy/Noosa I'll shout the beers

Just get your facts right before you go off on a rant accusing someone of something they don’t do. Nothing wrong with learning how caravans are made.
Would like this fitted to our van but don't know who can do it in Adelaide.

it is all right going to the horses mouth as long as you don't let him nag you
😂 🤣 😂
once you have had air bags you will not be with out them
Absolutely can't wait 😍
