Deft 880 dmg per minute Uzi 795 Imp 790 Namei 590 Turtle 540 Rekkles 530 consider those stats, you would think that Imp and Uzi would have similar roles within their team, however, Uzi and Insec were the designated carries of SHR, whereas Imp, Deft and Pawn were meant to carry SSW. Both teams have different needs and different players and therefore require different things from their AD's, Imp doesn't need to make the same plays Uzi does because he has a team to do that for him, no, hypothetically, Imp could be incapable of making the same plays as Uzi but if you actually watched Imp in OGN and Worlds, you'd probably realise that he is entirely capable, both players are great in their own respect and its' fucking hard to separate them in terms of skill.
Teamfight positioning is useless when you can't dish out enough damage... I noticed that a lot of people think a "good teamfight positioning" is just sit back safely behind their team and shoot whatever is in range. If your team is ahead or you got 4 items as a late game hyper carry it works fine, that's why Deft and Namei were so strong in those games when their teams were either winning or stalled to a super late game with Kog/Twitch. However, when you face a very good opponent with lots of pressure you need to not waste your DPS on tanks, that requires stepping to the danger zone and shoot their carries while avoid taking damage the best you can. Uzi and Imp are both super strong in that situation. That's why both Deft and Namei failed and Uzi/Imp thrived. That's how you play the best ADC because the results prove it is the best style to play. The reason they gave Uzi the "best" title is just simply Uzi won bot lane 2 times with Zero, against Imp+Mata, and went even the other 2 while their team lost 3 times in the final. At least there is no question who is the better in laning skills. But to be honest Uzi and Imp are both at THE TOP level that no one else can reach, for now.

+vlad marian you're not alone buddy. I played her almost exclusively (she was by far my best champ) from Fall 2011 until her rework. I don't think she's significantly weaker now, per se (her turrent-pushing is unbelievable), but I can no longer single handedly win lane like I used to. Trist is significantly more support-reliant now imo, at least in laning phase. Before, even if I had an inexperienced support, I could outtrade the enemy lane using E harass and positioning by myself. Good times :')

Uzi surely is the best adc, because he positions so well. But for adcs in general, their success highly relies on the rest of the team peeling, stunning, slowing, zoning for him. I'm not here to take any props from Uzi, but just to clarify that most of these plays where best team plays in my opinion, a best adc play for me would be 1v2 or 1v3 outplay. But that's just me.
You do know that in most pro league play, 1v2 or 1v3 outplay won't happen which probably happen in some random ranked games. If that happen in a pro league game, that only means your team sucks. This game is about teamwork.
