Oooh, that's a tough call. I'd have to say, for bouldering, Rocklands - Gampians just cannot compete with the density of problems, or the potential. Sport and trad though, Gramps for sure!
Neil Kelman Definitely, but the Cederberg is huge and the landscape is littered with boulders. Gramps has plenty of development potential, but Rocklands would have even more.
Very nice guide and somehow you managed to get more climbing footage than I did when we were there for four weeks!

You say there wasn't a guidebook available, but there is. In fact the 2008 guidebook is better than the new 2018 guidebook.
aspuzling You cannot buy that guidebook anywhere. It's out of print. I tried heaps of places to get it as I love collecting guidebooks.

Rocklands VS Gramps?

Surely the Gramps will see more development as the sport gets more popular. The place is massive!
