Everyone gets really excited when the sopranos sing high but as a soprano myself I get really excited when the basses get sing really low

js59695 I really think I grew up in choirs like that! (Local performing arts center choir, junior high choir, high school) I 100% never expected to miss choir as an adult.
AGREE!!! Choirs are pretty epic!!! Most folks can't handle the solo thing, but they still like to sing - choirs enable people who might not have a fantastic voice, to still make good music... and the social aspects of a decent choir are MAJOR.

I love that these youngsters devote so much of their time and energy to choral singing. Not because it’s trendy but because it’s beautiful.

Alice Di Marco they were really great. the other ones were okay. they’re tones were seriously lacking and the blend of their harmonies were not that great. the crowd only went because they grew in sound and they moved. they definitely weren’t the best in performing their songs. that choir was really great though
sav dad 2nd choir was great though that had great tone and good diction. Sounded like angels. But yes the Roar choir was amazing as well.

Calvin Nguyen in order for the musical instrument to be played all of the events you mentioned need to happen as well as purchasing the Instrument since they don’t play themselves they need someone to play them
If anyone is interested, the song the 2nd choir performed was Benedictus from The Armed Man mass by Karl Jenkins. You can find the choral (non-orchestral) version by searching for Karl Jenkins Motets Benedictus. Definitely worth checking out along with the other pieces from that mass
Have seen this before, but haven’t commented. Love them all, but the 1st Welsh choir Cor G and Only Boys Aloud made me cry (happy tears) with the sounds they made. So so beautiful. Thanks very much young folk.
I sang in choir for so many years, and this video makes me cry. Choir singing is pure beauty.

I sang in choirs from the time I was 12 until my 60's when RA nodes ruined my voice. I miss it sooooo much!

yep, definitely. The sound was kinda crappy. If they had a mic with a bit of echo added to it.... To EACH individual girl, it would sound so much better. Shame tho, this is one of my most favourite songs by Enya..

In that second choir there were a lot of angelic faces and voices. That gospel choir, what energy they brought, Simon gets beat to the buzzer LOL. Glad I'm not the only one brought to tears by these terrific singers

My choir teacher had us watch this the other day cause we had free time and I had to stop myself from cursing when The 100 Voices of Gospel came on cause it shocked me it was so good
the imperfection of the vocals in the first choir is rather charming combined with the movements.
OK, Wales should not be allowed to compete with the rest of us in singing contests, period. THAT was amazing!

Choir 2, the welsh choir and choir 4 , the Acapella choir are definitely my favourites here. They both are so magical and beautiful in their own way. Awsome!

Detroit IS back. Wonderful, artistic things are happening there. I lived there during the heyday of the Fisher theater and early Motown. That talent and passion lives on in the Motor City.

The second choir was so choral they brought down the quality of my audio just to make it sound better (like one of those really really old classical pieces)
So very emotive . Absolutely superb. The Welsh choirs are in a class of their own. Wow. All of these choirs are top notch. How they pick a winner is impossible.

My school choir sang the first song (Adiemus) last summer as well :) It's just amazing to perform that song on stage together with 150 other singers and an orchestra 😍

Yes, I love the song Adiemus! I don’t get why people don’t like the song, or the choir that sings it. Personally, I think it’s beautiful. My grade 5-6 choir are singing this, and I love it!

They are my new favorite choir. I heard their rendition of "Hallelujah" and instant tears and goosebumps. That does not happen often. Nearly never. That was truly amazing.

For the second one, which is called "Benedictus" from a movement called "Hadyn Mass" is such a FLASHBACK to my sophomore year of choir, though my class sped i up a bit to make it more energetic.

When one judge hits the golden buzzer before another one is about to you know you are good. The Hundred Voices of Gospel after all were singing for someone far greater than the judges and the audience and that's the way to do it
When the choir sing in good harmony it shows how sweet peace and unity can be ♥️♥️

For myself I can barely hear us basses even though we are all standing next to each other
Soprano’s and tenors carry the music almost every time
Tbh the altos are the real MVPs almost always providing the harmony that sets the song apart!
choirs naturally sound good cause they harmonise, and harmonies always sound better than solo.
