I'm a punker of the early-mid 80s, into bands like Maggot Sandwich, Stark Raving Mad, Adrenalin OD, Germs, No Means No, I could go on & on...I also like lots of modern hardcore like Drain, Turnstile (my current fav), Year Of The Knife, Rotting Out. At 53 I still go to shows, jump around, and see a revival of vibrant, awesome bands & shows in the last several years. However, I've felt a void in the area of really great punk rock in the vein (another great modern band, Vein!) of the early 80s. THIS BAND...Exit Order! They're transporting me back to an era of simplicity, aggression, substance, purity and enjoyment wrapped up in short, meaningful songs, and an incredible live performance (through videos I've seen). Exit Order is currently one of my favorite punk rock bands in the world. Wow! Words fall short, even though I've used way too many! Exit Order is putting a huge smile on my face & making me nod & shake my head in time with their music. This just totally kicks ass!
Nah you're right, recent punk has just been a bunch of gross hippies with too many piercings yapping about politicians and flexing their vegan diet. These guys remind me of the scene they had in Oxnard with Dr. Know, Stalag 13, and Ill Repute.
@@jacobtheebruce The record store Amoeba in Los Angeles has a UA-cam series called “what’s in my bag”. It showcases notable musicians speaking on music/anything else they picked up from the store. These comments are referring to the episode in which Todd of the band Nails came in. One of the things he picked up was this album.

Listen to S.H.I.T. if you haven't already, they have a great 80s LA punk sound
This is incredible. They could be straight from 1981 with their sound. I love this.
The more Exit Order here on UA-cam, the better. So thanks for the upload, my brother.
the guitarist is a legendary drummer from Boston
still one of my favorites of all time
As a metalhead, it's great to listen to music this aggressive that doesn't grate against your ears like much metal does.
As a metalhead, the quality of metal has never really been as good as it was during metal's glory days (70's and 80's)
Anyone know what's happening with this band? I hope they put out more albums. I love this one.
Damn, you got this up fast! One of my favorite bands in punk right now.
:) Same, i love this band!!! Miss your uploads!
