What I meant is when you put your hands on a cardigan , the button holes for boys will be under right hand and for girls will be under left hand , 🤔 won't it?

I just love doing your patterns and I love that you use measurements rather than stitch numbers, I just seem to get a better finished project when I do it your way. I have a question, I would like to do this with one colour for yoke and another colour for body. I would like to do the button bands the same, one colour for yoke band and the body band. Do I change colour as I would do on a flat piece of work or is there a different technique for button bands. Many thanks
You can try changing as normal , but I think it might look messy... because the band is half double crochet( I think , can't rember for sure) and they leave stitches far on the side, so you might not get a nice straight edge...

Very pretty pattern. Enjoyed making this. One mistake….the lap on sweater fronts are backwards. Girl is buttonhole on right side, boy is left.
What I meant is when you put your hands on a cardigan , the button holes for boys will be under right hand and for girls will be under left hand , 🤔 won't it?
Buttons go on the left side for girls, right side for boys. So buttonholes would be right side for girls, left for boys.
