Nice find on the drill indexes. They are so expensive. Even normal Huot or Hanson ones are. I miss the days when I was working when we order a full new drill index from McMaster Carr or get one at Fastenal. Thanks for video
I believe I was watching Project Farm and they did a test to see how many holes they could drill in steel. A certain DeWalt bit performed quite well, I was about to invest but then these popped up. Thank s for watching!
I really had no idea just how much they sold for when I bought this lot. It's hard to find really good bits, so I will be keeping one set for sure. Thanks for watching!
@@bobbygarrett9588 I have been looking for a good set for years but never willing to pay the big bucks for them. I will buy the individual bits to complete the set so I may have $150ish in the big set at that time.
Does anyone know when they started the tapered extensions instead of the full diameter shaft as seen in this video? I was surprised when I warrantied my 1978 broken 6" 3/8 extension and got the wasp waisted one with the knurling. I think that was in the 90's.

@@thetoolbandit I actually have the 29 piece that I purchased off the truck, and many payments later I own them.

Nice haul! Everything looks to be in great shape! Almost a full drill bit set too! I never see them more than half full lol.
Right? Finding them complete seems impossible. Thanks for watching!
I knew the drill bits were expensive but I had no idea how much they listed for when I bought them. Sorry I didn't get more of the car! 😂🤣
Some very nice stuff on this haul!!

I'm literally missing the same bit. Lol. And broke a small one today. Was totally my fault, they're good bits imo. Nice little score! 🫡
Rare to find them full. I think I will make one for set and keep the second for spares. Thanks for watching!
