Echo's augmentations in some ways remind me of LoBot from legends. The AI cybernetic implant worn by LoBot helped him to fully integrate with the Cloud City CPU. It is possible then that if Echo was reintegrated into the GAR, he could have been turned over to Bio Tech Industries who would have used him in experiments.
I believe the Citadel arc takes place somewhat late within the first year of the war while Anaxes takes place at the end of the third year, so he was in techno union hands for about two years more or less
Oldish video, but this is the first time I'm watching it, so eh. Echo did become a commando when he joined the commando unit Clone Force 99 aka The Bad Batch. Also, if his tactical knowledge was merely text book, then why would the Techno Union even bother linking up to his brain to steal Republic tactics and just get ahold of whatever manuals the clones use in their studies? Rex even said that he would spend hours with Echo coming up with new strategies, so this statement of yours makes little sense. I do agree that the kaminoans would have killed him, though, and they would have experimented on him first.
I am deeply surprised that echo didn’t get upgraded cybernetics especially for his hand so we could still do the splicing work but also have a functional hand that way he can have two hands again sort of. Plus if he’s giving superior cybernetics it probably would’ve helped him in the long run because we don’t exactly know what the techno union cybernetics were or what level of ingenuity or text they were it could’ve been to sit in the yard it could’ve been extremely primitive we don’t exactly know what we do you know is that there were some high polity cybernetics that were currently available during that time period so echo could’ve gotten more sophisticated cybernetic enhancements to compensate for what he lost which would also complement any type of highly sophisticated military armament that he could synchronize with which would make his covert ops missions all the more easier as well as hunting down Jedi if it worked for Darth Vader and general grievous why not an elite clone trooper.
The clones didn’t switch sides during order 66. The Jedi were found to be traitors to the republic that has now become the empire. The clones did their duty.
So he can't use rifles but they couldn't find him some heavy pistol? Like a disruptor or maybe have a mount or grip on his metal hand? Or maybe but a bayonet on it or somthing give him some CC protection
The whole “one hand” thing he keeps mentioning won’t be a problem to Echo later on in bad batch. I saw an unfinished scene and it shows Echo with 2 hands holding dual dc-17’s with heavy Arc Trooper armour and shoulder pads. I’m quite excited to see the future of this...
A good analysis. Now that we do know what happens next, the only miss is the part about the Empire. It views the entire Bad Batch as a threat, but the only member the Kaminoans got their hands on was Crosshair.
I remember seeing what he looked like after he joined the bad batch back during the unfinished episodes with I think an intro that showed him with the bad batch back to his previous self and wearing ARC trooper armour with bad batch colours showing them on kashyyyk in that intro. Though I don’t know if that got to be a confirmed thing that happened for Echo in those unfinished episodes.
Around 6:00 I diagree on him being an outsider with a commando group, look at corr from the repuvlic commando books, he lost both arms above the elbow and was still crosstrained to be a commando. All he would need is a cybernetic hand
In this video the main issue you bring up is him missing a hand. That’s dumb. Just slap on a cybernetic hand. As you said earlier, robot parts can make one more effective in combat. Look at grievous. Give him an Anakin or Luke hand. Problem solved.

@@ph89787 late 21 BBY, everyone was wearing phase 2 by 20 BBY
LaFlaminBoomin nope beginning of 20BBY.
sadly we knew he was gonna come back, mainly the people that knew about the unfinished episodes. kinda spoils the fun for some of us
If they salvaged echoes body why didn't they try that with heavy or fives because they were arc troopers like echo 🤔
Or they could re-introduce him as a prototype for the Dark Trooper project
His cybernetic modifications fit that lore so well!
What happened to the Bad Batch after Order 66?
I am happy to see how wrong he was about not seeing echo that much anymore
"A new challenger appears!"
Echo as he defects from the empire and joins the rebellion only to stumble across rex and his AT-RV.
The better question is what happened to the bad batch after order 66
Echo's alteration reminds me of the stroggification in Quake 4.
Would be interesting to see echo have a modular arm until like a K2SO Droid arm or a b2 battle droid arm.
they could have always just gave echo a hand like anakin...
Maybe they will
Oldish video, but this is the first time I'm watching it, so eh.
I do agree that the kaminoans would have killed him, though, and they would have experimented on him first.
its weird to think that echo is the only one in clone force 99 that actually knew 99
To all of us echo is Ark Trooper even though he's been modified by the Techno Union
I think Echo would be useful to the Rebellion
You wrote very much and i agree
The clones didn’t switch sides during order 66. The Jedi were found to be traitors to the republic that has now become the empire. The clones did their duty.
So he can't use rifles but they couldn't find him some heavy pistol? Like a disruptor or maybe have a mount or grip on his metal hand? Or maybe but a bayonet on it or somthing give him some CC protection
Since he has cybernetics wouldn't they be able to motif him for combat and splicing?
That is if Rex and Anakin would let them take Echo to Kamino
If he didn’t join the bad batch
Palpatine: wow, another Grievous, a fine addition to my collection.
Echo's Back Bitches
The whole “one hand” thing he keeps mentioning won’t be a problem to Echo later on in bad batch. I saw an unfinished scene and it shows Echo with 2 hands holding dual dc-17’s with heavy Arc Trooper armour and shoulder pads. I’m quite excited to see the future of this...
A good analysis. Now that we do know what happens next, the only miss is the part about the Empire. It views the entire Bad Batch as a threat, but the only member the Kaminoans got their hands on was Crosshair.
Technically wouldn't echo be a clone commando after joining the bad batch since they are all clone commandos?
Ok, Echo needs to get some proper nutrition because he looks, SO THIN, and SO PALE-
I remember seeing what he looked like after he joined the bad batch back during the unfinished episodes with I think an intro that showed him with the bad batch back to his previous self and wearing ARC trooper armour with bad batch colours showing them on kashyyyk in that intro.
If I were in echos position, I’d replace my socket arm with a regular arm with a socket hidden inside the wrist, gotta have the ability to box.
Great video! Hope for more boredom killing content on the future!
We got an extra episode this week so stay tuned!
@@geetslys yes
Echo would have been modified into a Phase Zero Dark Trooper
In this video the main issue you bring up is him missing a hand. That’s dumb. Just slap on a cybernetic hand. As you said earlier, robot parts can make one more effective in combat. Look at grievous. Give him an Anakin or Luke hand. Problem solved.
Could the republic install a arm add on so he can hold a blaster and still do his hatcking
Awesome videos. Love the Star Wars content
