my favorite part about this video is that it actually shows videos that you would see on the recommended according to the time period. Not just focusing on trends and memes that maybe eve you remember, but also the videos that will just randomly be there on what was trending at the time, and videos that were made a few months ago but the algorithm thinks you'll like it. Also, +1 at the fact that every thumbnail, even the ones slightly offscreen, plays a clip of the video. even showing the evolution of youtube videos themselves. showing how we went from flip-phones and blackberries to IPhones and professional cameras. Its the little things that make me love unique videos like these. (edit; grammar mistakes)

The old youtube had it’s pros and cons but I have to admit I find myself using YT way more than I used to. Not just for entertainment, but for a huge variety of topics and things. In my opinion the platform just matured and grew up.
@TechMasterJason Yeah I agree, talking of VidLii , I used VidLii back in 2018 and it was awesome, later the drama started and they kicked users for no reason, in 2019 I'm not using VidLii anymore, the website is full of kids, one thing I loved about VidLii was the layout and the customization of the website, now the owner of VidLii and Bitview is making a new website called Vlare, which is not old UA-cam

If you had started UA-cam in 2019 then no worries because there is motivations for new UA-camrs. Starting a UA-cam channel back in the old days does not always mean you will quickly gain a whole lot of subs. That second screen, I remember that second screen. I remember the old days of UA-cam, just seeing random videos here and there. Then one day I encountered him, the Angry Nintendo Nerd. Seeing those featured videos in this video brought back a lot of memories of clicking on them and enjoying them.
