This is why I think Bill is a better mashup artist than DJ Cummerbund. Cummerbund has some amazing tunes, but his stuff is never seamless. Bill’s songs feel like they’re original recordings that just didn’t happen in this universe. Cummerbund’s stuff, while really good, goes out of its way to show its artifice and remind you that it’s a mashup.

It's just incredible how you can take polar opposites like Buffalo Springfield and Young MC but when placed together they sound perfect. Also dig the appearances from Eddie, Slash and Phil

The artist selection, cutting and pasting, and resulting interplay is great. The end composite composition is as good as, and then I must add, better then the individual songs themselves. What is exceptional in Bills mashups is that he often samples multiple lead guitarists phrases for the lead lines and some how they all blend together to sound like a single coherent lead line consistent with the song. Brilliant!
You have no idea how much joy I get from how you put songs that shouldn't fit together but also absolutely could fit together is astounding. From the Def Leppard solo to the Van Halen ending and the actual premise of the mashup itself is simply incredible.
