First tip is definitely the biggest. Understanding the brief is everything!
Thanks for another great epsiode Tom and Andy. Legends.
Legend 👊🏼
We started with Rhino and i feel like it gives u more opportunity to be free with designing
But revit makes life easier in a lot of instances 😂
I struggle with rhino 😅I export from sketchup
thanks for the outlook Thomas, the first point really blew my mind!
Great podcast as usual.
33:59 I do have to say that I agree that using Rhino allows a lot of flexibility in design just because you are not constrained to standards like for instance having a straight wall. Rhino felt like the hardest thing to learn but I will say it definitely isn't that bad when you get the hang of it, I recommend using ArchiStar it's got some great tutorials for Rhino. I will say though it's quite a lot of work to get plans and sections from rhino, Revit and AutoCAD are definitely a lot better in those situations but it's great to model in Rhino and then put into Revit.
not me listening to them in the background at 4 in the morning about 'donot pull all nighters as often' as im on my 4th nighter in a row
😅
please get some rest
Thanks for the input Thomas. I'm a future student.

great podcast bro... do you use a physical or a digital schedule? which one do you recommend?
i would recommend a physical diary or something but digital would work just as well
I am a 3rd year architectural student
And i am struggling with my project’s, i so my best In terms of research and site Analysis and understanding the brief. But when i get to work i feel like I know nothing or whatever it is that I am designing it’s just so normal
Soo i just want to know if you know some good book or websites or Podcast🙃 or just anything that can help me in terms of info and fact about design something concert.
I would appreciate it if you replied
Try letting the restrictions of your site, materials and brief take over your design as in don't think too much about style and focus more on letting the restrictions design your project in interesting ways. Good design comes out of planning great design comes out of oppression.

Architecture school, you don't need to know Cadd, Revit or SketchUp before starting, Also, Architecture school, your project isn't as polished as Tims (who has been doing Revit 2 years before hand) lol
Hiiiiii
First?
