Sam Fisher circa whenever the fuck this takes place: "I'm Sam Fisher. I kick ass, make shit blow up, and kill everyone in my way." Oh yeah. Good move, Ubisoft.
um if you want all the achievements you have to beat the game without being seen. Plus the special ops missions or w.e you want to call them, you get spotted & you have to start over. So stealth is still very well in the game..
TheBrokenOne THAT'S NOT THE POINT. Look at how this is marketed! It's- it's horrible! Sam Fisher is a man of passive action, he'd rather take a bullet than kill and has, if you've read the novel! Splinter Cell through Chaos Theory, he followed this ideology: you have the option to kill. Choose not to kill if you can. Here, they gave ZERO shits about that characterization of killing being his last resort, which made him so much more dimensional! He has the freedom to kill granted by his country, yet as a human being would, he avoids it at all costs! Now compare that to Sam circa Blacklist. What do you see: a man whose pragmatism spares lives both guilty and innocent, or a nutcase the government taught to be a ninja and gave explosives? It's not about your opinion, or my opinion, it's a fact that they *ruined Sam Fisher* just to appeal to a /SLIGHTLY/ larger market demographic. Well I say to it what Egoraptor said to that one Zelda: "Fuck you, Blacklist! FUCK YOU." And if you don't like it, then I guess we just agree to disagree!
I can forgive Conviction because it was the dev team's inevitably-doomed attempt to clean up the mess that the Double Agent team(s) left in their wake. Double Agent's idea was interesting, but it handled the game changes and character development so clumsily, it's difficult to believe it would ever happen in the SC continuity, much less connect with the cast of characters. To be fair on the Conviction team, they gave Sam a LOT of good reason to become a kill-enabled monster. If you've read the books like I have, it's pretty much laid out in black and white that aside from his deadpan snarking and dark sense of humor, the only thing Sam believes keeps his sanity in check is his daughter. She humanizes him, in his words/thoughts. That is why in the first novel when its discovered Sarah was purposefully kidnapped to draw Sam out of hiding, the *entire French SpecFors* and Third Echelon dropped *everything* they were doing just to focus on getting her back just to prevent Sam from going Taken a la Liam Neeson on the entire region- and he does, by successfully destroying a black market bomber jet hangar with its own ordnance. Even during his tour in the Gulf War, Sam had a sense of restraint and respect for human life that superseded his training and objective as a Navy operative, and that took place supposedly *before* Blacklist. Here, he's completely lost his sense of identity, and it's not just because Michael Ironside isn't his voice actor. I mean, the character that *we* know to be Sam Fisher, just isn't in this game. =/
They're sold at any Barnes & Noble store, all of 'em. Just beware: the second novel is a little Bames Jond, and ends on a really cheesy note, but they're all good.
That game really caught me by surprise !! the level design, the superb story, the epic stealth and the adrenaline bumping fire fights !! Yeap this is the only game I ever played that actually made me play stealthy - which is the most enjoyable way to play - because every fire fight is a tough one that required you to quickly move and react and to actually use your different gadgets in order to survive
You're right, the seeing through walls is a bit counter-intuitive to the challenge of a stealth game. I just meant that its the closest thing I've seen to a stealth game recently. But if you play it on higher difficulties levels where your instinct doesn't regenerate you can take care of that problem. Just use it up right away and and you won't be able to see through walls! Chaos theory was great...best of the series and a masterful stealth game. Can't argue with you there!
It’s 2021, we need a new Splinter Cell game, come on already Sam is in literally in every Ubisoft game minus For Honor and Watch Dogs Legion. Conviction and Blacklist are still fun sure, but both of those games don’t have enough players. A new Splinter Cell game would be amazing. To be honest if Ubisoft doesn’t want to make a new Splinter Cell game I’d be perfectly fine with a remake of Conviction.
hi, I'm from the future..don't worry mgs 5 is still awesome even without david hayter...also you probably won't believe this, konami fired kojima and they turn the latest metal gear solid after mgs 5, into generic zombie game..yes, it's sucks..
I played the first Splinter Cell. I played Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory, as well as Double Agent and Conviction. I've seen Sam and the downward spiral of pain he has had to endure through out the series. Conviction really brought that pain to life. It made the character more than just a life like video game character. I know Conviction wasn't like typical old school Splinter Cell. But the story was enjoyable because it showed that Sam coming undone. Sam would not have come back, my opinion
They need to bring this game to the PlayStation 4 and XBOX ONE with all the DLC, carry over our saved games and some enhancements (better visuals, 60fps, and etc).
Haseo560 This is arguably the best installment in the series and I would love to play it again. I sold all gaming from stuff from the previous generations to get an XBOX ONE (it was worth it) but I would still like to play this game again (I had it for the XBOX 360). This game was so f*cking refined and flexible. It sets the standard for a third-person stealth-action/adventure game. I've played all the Splinter Cell games of the main series (except for Chaos Theory). I saw this franchise grow up from a clunky and restrictive brute to a fluid and liberating phantom of the darkness.
Michael Ironside is said to be back in the next Splinter Cell! This one was so much fun but Sam's voice and weirdly changed new oversensitive personality threw me off. He was a bit of a jerk, apparently because of Coste being injured, but even during Double Agent and Conviction he was never like that. didn't sit well with me nor did the lackluster boss fight at ending but loved the gameplay
Make sure next game has Michael Ironside. If you're gonna change the voice actor, you may as well introduce a NEW character and have Sam Fisher, voiced by Michael Ironside, as a mentor.

i have actually played blacklist when i went to Toronto Canada to get a hands on approach to the game, i gotta admit, some aspects in chaos theory and double agent was removed and the mark and execute has been a new addition to the Series but i actually think its a good addition to stand alongside the game
FAKE!!!!! in the game the robot spider bot did not exist and you can't have this suit because it's a pre order bonus at gamestop and the grenade launcher did not exist too !!!!!
its simply....well the game that you can go in like ''welcome to the club lick what up i got a big cock'' style...if you like games that are realistic and that every move that you make must be quick, smart and PERFECT!!! Otherwise you will get detected and like in real life you can't just kill an army like in COD or battlefield. If you are smart you MUST play this game. (story is a bit short though)
Good? That word is so far from this game, this is god-like good! more amazing than the spiderman, more incredible than the hulk, more enjoyable than some good porn. Go buy it now!
This game took place after Conviction, Lambert was murdered by Sam in Double Agent hence he won't appear here. Sam do appear younger here, but I think it's just because of the CG and he'll look older in the actual game, otherwise it may be because Sam is back from being a drifter to the head of the Fourth Echelon.
Omg they have the slider bot as a gadget and the characters look different which is actually pretty nice and this trailer was azmaing. The trailer is so damn good and Sam Fisher riding underneath a vehicle is also very nice, I play blacklist everyday. Ubisoft we need the spider bot or the goggles and boots to the game please
With Bruce Wayne, what series are you referring to? If you're taking about Batman Beyond, he had a high tech Bat-suit to help him out plus he had a heart attack that stopped him from being Batman. If you're talking about The Dark Knight Returns, he is forced to use a brace for his arm to rehab and strengthen it. With Blacklist, Sam hasn't got these things (specialised tech suits, only miltary grade urban camo gear and hasn't got any braces or healing/rehab equipment)

this game was incredible, hope we get a new one soon :(
i have actually played blacklist when i went to Toronto Canada to get a hands on approach to the game, i gotta admit, some aspects in chaos theory and double agent was removed and the mark and execute has been a new addition to the Series but i actually think its a good addition to stand alongside the game
Melhor Jogo Até Hoje
FAKE!!!!! in the game the robot spider bot did not exist and you can't have this suit because it's a pre order bonus at gamestop and the grenade launcher did not exist too !!!!!
Games been out for over a year pal.
actually there is a new patch for the robot spider....
When?
well i saw it at pirate bay
Pirate bay, there are deferentially no virus' there.
ubisooooft we need a new splinter cell pleaseeeeeee
#REMASTERPLEASE
ha its a mushroom
Man, Sam looked REALLY young for a guy pushing 56. XD
Is this game good
not good... awesome...
Turjo Arif Jahangir Not awesome...AMAZINGLY AWESOME
its simply....well the game that you can go in like ''welcome to the club lick what up i got a big cock'' style...if you like games that are realistic and that every move that you make must be quick, smart and PERFECT!!! Otherwise you will get detected and like in real life you can't just kill an army like in COD or battlefield. If you are smart you MUST play this game. (story is a bit short though)
arsenios19dr Thanks! Those things are what I like
Good? That word is so far from this game, this is god-like good! more amazing than the spiderman, more incredible than the hulk, more enjoyable than some good porn. Go buy it now!
I didn't think I'd be coming back to this trailer in 2020, to remember the last Splinter Cell game... RIP
We need sam fisher back😎😎
Where's Michael Ironside's voice???
0:59 Mushrooms? Gimme that mushroom pizza!
Nice trailer. What did they give Sam; a super soldier serum because the dude should be in his late 50's.
this is Gigachad s video game bring back to this masculine gaming era !
Oh… has it really been 10yrs already?
This game took place after Conviction, Lambert was murdered by Sam in Double Agent hence he won't appear here. Sam do appear younger here, but I think it's just because of the CG and he'll look older in the actual game, otherwise it may be because Sam is back from being a drifter to the head of the Fourth Echelon.
this song goes perfectly with this is a moment
Omg they have the slider bot as a gadget and the characters look different which is actually pretty nice and this trailer was azmaing. The trailer is so damn good and Sam Fisher riding underneath a vehicle is also very nice, I play blacklist everyday. Ubisoft we need the spider bot or the goggles and boots to the game please
it is just a trailer guys. during gameplay, invisibility will be an option. you dont have to rambo everything...
Omg 2020 in corona year and I still watching the trailer
With Bruce Wayne, what series are you referring to?
If you're taking about Batman Beyond, he had a high tech Bat-suit to help him out plus he had a heart attack that stopped him from being Batman.
If you're talking about The Dark Knight Returns, he is forced to use a brace for his arm to rehab and strengthen it.
With Blacklist, Sam hasn't got these things (specialised tech suits, only miltary grade urban camo gear and hasn't got any braces or healing/rehab equipment)
though i agree with you you've gotta admit the old sams voice was just badass
i need another splinter cell in my life
