good review but disagree about the extra chrome (old fashioned), we have a year old onyx black, it looks lush, whilst the car as a whole looks smart still, not like the gimmiky new alternatives out there. I think the integration of controls into the not oversized display has been done really well. It drives superb. And I don't think it is noisy on the freeways, infact its the smoothest quietist car I've ever owned.
All of the heat and infotainment setting can be adjusted using Google voice/assistant. You don’t really need to use the touchscreen. Only actual driving/safety settings cannot be adjusted that way.
7:08 I agree with you about the screen size. It looks & feels a little bit cramped & the CarPlay view is placed kind of lower than your immediate line of sight which isn't helpful for safety. I'd they repositioned the center air vents they could rotate the screen to a landscape style screen
They need to add reclining rear seats & get rid of that intrusive hump in the floor of the second row which makes it difficult as an adult to sit in the middle. The rear comfort is lacking for adults. There's no manual rear side window shades either which it would benefit from. They don't have a midsize 2-row model in between the XC60 & Now dated XC90 which is going to be replaced by the all new way more expensive EX90 which starts off in pricing where the XC90 pricing ended
Sorry to be negative but I couldn't even get through this video, it's awful. First off, the fender flares aren't body color painted, there are no fender flairs, there are simply creases in the metal. Touching it and feeling that it is metal would have confirmed that in two seconds. Secondly, and this is where I had to stop watching... you said the rear tail lights are too similar to those on a Honda CR-V?? Holy cow, WOW! Anyone who knows even the smallest amount of automotive knowledge would recognize that tall horizontal taillights that Volvo has been doing since the late 90s. My man, Honda copied Volvo a good 15 years AFTER Volvo introduced that design language for tail lights. Absolute cringe. Fail.
Hey there, I apologize for the mistakes in my video! As you can tell, I’m a pretty new car reviewer so am always happy to learn more. I appreciate you dropping your knowledge!
It feels like you already made up your opinion about this vehicle before actually testing and revieving it in person.

you can use google assist to adjust fan speed and cabin temperature. Dont need to do it manually

Car wash 3D. Love that. Have you done that before??
