I wish this Hulk fought Thanos. Imagine Black Widow trying to calm this Hulk down in Age of Ultron? I thought I was going to see Planet Destroyer when Hulk found out Black Widow died. Instead we got a retarded ape that put on some glasses and threw a bench into a river.
If they improved the cgi then maybe I would choose this one over disneys

Personally i REALLY liked the way Abomination ran. You feel the athleticism, the weight with the building momentum..
ikr, that's the thing modern cgi animation misses sometimes even it's hard to get it right.
That's what I noticed too when watching. Felt more grounded in the environment. Not weightless.
For the mocap they had Tim Roth be pulled by ropes on his front and back to help achieve that feeling as he ran
Plus it's mad intimidating imagine seeing that irl
Always looked like a Beserker from Gears of War to me
Hulk is not only the personification of pure rage, but also that of the indomitable spirit. I love that they made Hulk physically smaller than Abomination which is clearly seen as the two jump at each other in the earlier scenes at the beginning of the fight. I believe that detail helps reinforce how strong Hulk has to become in order to defeat such a foe. Also the detail put into Hulk’s face during the rooftop fight, as Abom has him pinned against the wall, you could almost feel the Hulk growing stronger as he pulled Abom’s forearm off of his neck and forced his arms back. It was then that Abomination knew he fucked up
Hulk is not only smaller, but is actually weaker than Abomination. Hulk could defeat Abomination because he gave in to his fury instinct a lot more than Abomination, and the more angry a Gamma being is, the stronger he is.

The CGI is still pretty good in this movie. Specially the darkness that makes it look much better.

@@kylemccrory2031 Definitely agree and for the start they should add Edward Nortons hulk design back into mcu since it is bad ass savage looking than Ruffalos hulk.
It’s a lot easier to make something “look realistic” through VFX/CGI if you have it in the dark, compared to light, mcu did it amazingly in the last two movies since they managed to have such level of detail and still have it look real in the light too.

Cuts aside. I wish this Hulk was in the Avengers. This Hulk has that uncontrollable strength that is barely controlled. He is not so much an alley as he is a unstoppable force that is to be directed to smash something.

Nah he could’ve beaten him without the chains as evident when he easily overpowered abomination after abomination had him pinned and abomination resorting to a chain, he just snapped at the end and didn’t care about fighting him anymore he wanted him to die. That’s why you can see his eyes glowing bright green, getting angrier while abomination was trying to punch him off him
"Any last words?" Every time you hear the villain utter that hackneyed phrase in a movie you know he is about to lose.

*Hulk really is a hero. Because in this movie he doesn't kill innocents, just soldiers who wanted to capture him or bullies. Unlike the Abomination, which he kills for sadism and sport.*
Actually, when he first transformed, he injured everyone and I think he killed two scientists. But then again, it's because he's always angry and that's what happens when unstable gamma rays mutate people, I guess

Spawn has always been solid. 99% of Warner DC animated films and shows are fantastic. But I dont care for the companies and the fact remains they can turn Batman into a Jamaican and Daredevil into a transwoman, but it doesnt effect me.

CGI was incredible in this movie for the time & actually still holds up. Bruce's facial expressions as Hulk whenever Betty is around or in trouble are so good. I love this version of Hulk & Banner. They are my favourite screen version, don't know why this movie didn't do bigger box office. Loved that they went balls deep on the rage aspect of the Hulk with both Banner & Hulk. Banner constantly monitoring himself & training himself in types of control. Being in love with Betty but unable to do anything about it that might overly excite him. When he changes they really drove home that Hulk is just pure unfathomable seething rage. The roar at the sky when it's thunder & lightening, the jump down from the library, smashing the sonic canons, the whole fight with abomination & the King Kong like victory roar over him. The madder he gets the stronger he gets. That is the way Hulk is meant to be.....not comic relief.
