Congress moves ahead to hold AG Garland contempt; Biden asserts executive privilege over interview

- House Republicans on two powerful committees are looking to hold the Attorney General in contempt of Congress. Merrick Garland had previously refused to turn over audio recordings of a special counsel interview with President Biden, and now the President himself has stepped in to try and stop the contempt charges.

why is AG Garland not releasing the recordings? Who is he protecting? If the transcripts are certified to be accurate, then why is not releasing the actual recordings?
You must not remember how Garland handled the laptop because he’s protecting the same people for the same reasons he did all this. Hid the laptop then denied it’s existence when they could no longer deny it it became Russian disinformation when that failed they said it was just a Republican conspiracy theory when that was disproven they said no evidence of crime is on it when the crimes on it reached public consciousness Garland was forced to charge HB and after he did and HB reached a plea deal Garland unconstitutionally tried to back door a separate one that would supersede the original legally binding agreement HB had already agreed to.
