I’ve been sitting on this ugly duckling for a while now and since you’ve just shown him next to a Royal Guard and I’ve no Coldheart looks like I’ve got a new project 😀 thx Mr H awesome as per usual
If you don't have a Royal Guard or Cold Heart, he is the (almost) perfect substitute. One of the best against Spider for sure and can also do a good job on Dragon and Golem. Can even be built as a tank and CC. Pretty good, even though his damage isn't on par with the likes of CH and RG.

Same my first epic but im not impress him in campaign so i use my 1st sacred stone and then got ignatius and now my team has ignatius, galek, miscreated monster, coldheart and by the way its my 9th day in the game

He’s very solid all around for dungeon farming, both against the waves and the bosses. I got him together with Royal Guard so he works sort of like a secondary max HP nuker+crowd control hybrid. He’s quite versatile to build; mine actually took the Fearsome Presence mastery to further capitalize his CC potentials (leave the main nuking job to RG), then geared with Lifesteal to recoup the lost HP due to the Provokes he does. Good luck building him!

He looks useable, fit him with a stun set for arena and he could be pretty useful... and for dungeon waves hitting with the stun utility into damage for the boss.
I'm glad you covered him he's one of my first 6 stars, I use him in dragon and sometimes arena.

he was my first epic and first tank/ stunner. his A2 was doing well with CB aswell but his A1 is wack and that is the skill he will use most of the times. it needs to scale of hp and his third ability is not doing anything. he just needs some fixes with damage source for a1 and any kind of skill on a3 instead of what he got there. but his A2 is MVP
Very nice champion for mid game progression, and this kind of champions (utility/control) will be brilliant and skyrocket in value in the doom tower for sure.

Husk is trash for mid game players trust me I built him, his stun is too random & he hits like a wet noodle! HH has a all gold great hall & end game gear on him
I had him early and not in such great gear. He stayed in my arena team for a looong time and helpes me alot in dragon, spider and ice golem. Royal Guard isnt good at early game, too, because you need high health on the enemies, but Husk got his stun and his A3 hits hard, too. He is great.
I wish I had good gear lying around.

I feel both Coldheart's and Soulbond Bowyer's AI is a bit weird in spider's - they use their decrease turn meter AFTER the spider has gone - not before...

Good vid as ever. Would have been nice to see a straight comparison with an RG in same gear. Husks gear was not great as no CD gloves.
Stunned enemies with a counterattack buff on will also not trigger their counter attack when attacked.
I have him and he's one of my most used champs in dungeons. Wave clearing is a loooot easier with him. Hes also on my arena team for the stuns. I went for offense and defense mastery trees on him though. I'm not too fussed about his damage at the moment cause i still don't have good enough gear for him, but what i love about him is his ability to crowd control. Thus i didn't even give him Flawless Execution or Helmsmasher on the offense side, but Harvest Despair, Retribution and Fearsome Presence on the defense side. This way he counterattacks every now and then which gives him an extra chance at provoking someone, he has an extra +5% chance at aoe stunning and also throws leech at the same time, which noticeably improves the survivability of the team against the fat waves. The support tree does not provide any utility other than a bit extra accuracy, and in my opinion he can get just enough accuracy from gear to land his stuns and provokes without support masteries. He's a brilliant champion. Hes totally carried most of my dungeon teams from stage 15 and above. And as soon as i have farmed enough gear to optimize his balance accuracy-crit rate-crit damage, he will be even better, but Defense tree masteries are key, in my opinion. I totally recommend you try the defense side instead of the support if you feel like doing a part two on this video. He will blow your mind.

@@WoTRaR it doesn't really matter. He's got very poor gear at the moment. One accuracy set and one defense set and the other 2 pieces are miss matched. You just want to give him good accuracy(about 200), speed and defensive stats and if you can push a crit rate at 💯 and a bit of crit damage even better. He'll do magic for you.
This! Mine took the same Defense Masteries too. Gave him lots of HP and just enough DEF (not too much), and watch him being an absolute pest for those trash waves. I’ve got mine with the leftover Lifesteal gears where the stat rolls mostly suitable for the likes of Rhazin or Tayrel, but marred with bits of odd ATK sub-stats here and there, which won’t be too shabby for him to use instead.

Dayum..your gear is insane! I'm glad you did this champ. I've had him a long time and now I'm going to dust him off and gear him up.
He's unloved because he's wrong affinity for Spider 20 where AOE Nukers are the most useful. You don't *really* need a Max HP nuker in Dragon (where his affinity is the strongest) because Royal Guard and Poisons already do the job. The one dungeon where RG is wrong affinity, Fire Knight, is then Coldheart's best spot because she has Heal Reduction and deplete Turn Meter. Husk needs a Force Affinity Boss that needs AOE Nuke to be S tier above RG and CH. Let's hope Doom Tower brings that.
what if ur f2p and dont have RG? ur basing all ur strategy on everyone having a RG... wtf u talking about. Ive played for 9 months and still dont have an apothecary or coldheart or RG
@@shawnmanesh If you're F2P you make do with the champs you've got, even if they are mid tier. I'm talking about the general tiering of champs. And if you pull Husk and Royal Guard in the same 10 pull, most people would use RG not Husk.
I used him back in the day against the clan boss because of his Enemy Max HP damage. It was probably against normal or easy and he was only level 50 (and still is). Also used him in the arena until I got better champs. Ah, the good old days. Going to have to level and gear him so he does better in Faction Wars, because right now he's not that hot. :)
Hell Hades, I was looking at the changes to Hexia with her dmg increasing from debuffs on her for Soulreap (the new change), couple her with gruptuk and run Stoked to Fury. Curious as to her dmg output with all that dmg increase.

I have a Husk, but no Coldheart or Royal Guard. I'm thinking about trying out Steel Bowyer, most tier lists say she's not very good despite her Max HP scaling. It would be nice if we could see multipliers in game.
You’re certainly right about him being overlooked. Never pulled him, was unaware of him and had to look him up lol!
Great vid-I have a question though. In your spider team you used Rhazin as your tank- could I sub in Paragon (not leveled) to tank using the unkillable build/exploit but keeping Dark Galek, Husk, Apoth, and Coldheart? I’m having trouble getting past spiders 12, just pulled Dark Galek and have the others.

Maybe I missed it but showing the RGs in comparison wouldve been nice. I am pretty sure your RGs have a lot more crit-dmg than your husk which made the damage differential look fairly big. In reality husk has the same max-hp scaling, but RG has slight normal damage scaling on top of it too which gets buffed by attack-up etc.
Would it be bad if plarium took the rotos extra turn from a3 and putting it on a2? Then you could set it up with a2, one shot and extra turn, a3 with the block revive because of the extra health.
I pulled Husk very early on my first account and he was my best clan boss damager in early game with his Enemy Max skill until I got some poison/HP burns onboard.
He was on my short list when I was struggling to do spiders ( along with talia) I eventually pulled Monstar and that settled everything.
Would going defense tree for the tier 6 extra stun/provoke chance be worthwhile?
Seems like fearsome bellow at the end of the defense tree should be his mastery of choice to improve chance to land his a1 and a3...imho. Get the accuracy from his gear.

EDIT : in all seriousness, i wish i knew about him. Had been sleeping on him the entire time and spider 19 gave me SO MUCH TROUBLE. I couldn't beat it even with MM Royal Guard AND coldheart. Rhazin did it for me at the end but man that took a while.

Because i dont have a RG or CH on my alt account i used him for like 3 months and as the gear improves so does he. Dont have him booked but he still hitts reasonably hard, good cc champ aswell you youarw not building him for just damage. Good in a stun set

I got him in this 2x but from gold shard, but I still feel he is good, I don't understand the wording of his A3, is it current HP means if he lose HP does he do less or more damage?
I'm surprised you didn't mention this, but he doesn't even need to be at 60. I have him at 50 with CR and CD + accuracy for stun, and he dies a great job in Dragon and FW. (Obviously 60 helps with survivability and A1/A3 damage)

He should have been in the rebalance patch. Change all his attacks to hp based and for his big move hp+max ennemy hp
My only dps who has a enemy max hp. I use him in fireknight and dragon. I didn't test him in spiders. I might give him a try now that I have miscreated monster to protect him.
For his A3, on auto, he rarely uses it. I don't know why.

People underage him because the two best area he is good at is dragons and faction wars. The problem with that is their are a ton of other great champions for dragons and undead faction wars. that's why he is overlooked.

@@ZenoDE507 Its luck then. If you get a weak hit (15% chance I believe) then you can't place debuffs. If you get a regular hit then you can and should with this acc.

u can do a solo run with just bad el on dragon 20 4k defense 345 speed
i just tried him on drag 14 with 150 acuracy and no books and out of like 10 stun attempts he usually lands it on 1 at most.... seems like this guy needs books.... :( :( sucks cuz i was hoping i could keep him at 50 to save resources but if i book him it takes a lot and i feel ill want him 60 at that point since im early game :(

Warning... husk is trash for early & mid game players! HH has a all gold great hall & endgame gear on him, you will be disappointed , he hits like a wet noodle & HH used him against positive affinity in the video, I love HH but this vid is very misleading
@@jeramy844 He can hit for 1 mil vs spider 20 (weak affinity) with very reasonable gear that an average player can get, how is that a wet noodle? And he definitely rocks vs dragon and FK. Yes, he does hit like a wet noodle against low level bosses, but then again that's not where the mid game players will struggle, they will struggle when they reach the lvl 20 dungeons, and he can help there, without godly gear.
