I don;t agree with the concept of "winner takes all" as it happens in the form of Capitalism we have. Also, "trickle down economics" is a farce; most respected economists say that too. Idiot Republicans in the US think that Socialism and Authoritarian communism are the same thing. They are not. Scandinavian countries are the ones which have Democratic Socialism, that I like. Their quality of life is better than that of Americans in almost every measure. Venezuela, Cuba and the likes are dictatorships and authoritarian communism, not Democratic Socialism.

I think global trade and the free market have done a great deal to raise many of the world's populace above the poverty line and improved quality of life.
