Enjoyed this and definitely had a chuckle to myself at more than one point. 😆 Do more of this - it's nice getting to know you both a little more. Fleur, please look after your health - I totally get the struggle of "early" mornings and I'm my own boss so I can sometimes give myself a lie-in. Since you don't have that choice, it will mean making adjustments so you get a decent sleep. I'm older than you but there comes a point where you just can't function properly on the few hours you might have done as a student.
Met Konstantin Kisin (Trignomentry) back in Feb 2020 just before lockdown and thanked him for everything they were doing and to keep going as it was one of the few places to hear some sanity and common sense. Glad to know I wasn’t the only one who kept listening and it helping through lockdown.

I also agree with Fleur, I will be voting for a candidate who I think can stop the Liberals where I live. A party that neither believes in true Liberalism or Democracy for that matter. I will never forget how they tried to derail Brexit.

Relationships with people who disagree politically are very difficult. My wife and I always generally agreed and were kind of centrist with slightly left leaning, but since 2015 my opinions have hardened in response to the liberal elites becoming more radical (and less democratic), whereas I think she has (generally) moved with them. It has been a massive issue and almost resulted in the breaddown of our marriage.
Regarding the SDP broadcast, you were fine in it Amy, as was Peter. Some of it was cringeworthy, but that was mostly the bits where various candidates were spouting their lines which reminded me of some of the corporate videos I have to watch from my company.
