Banning the Snake-Eye field spell makes it so the deck can't play through Nibiru at all, so that would probably be the best way to hit the deck without making it impossible to play. Ash + Diabellstar uses the field spell on the 4th summon to put Flamberge in the back row and insulate against nib before Jet synchron is summoned. Diabellstar or Snake-Ash rely on the field spell in order to summon Flamberge out if they're hit with Nib. Banning the field spell ends up making it so players don't need Nib + hand trap, which makes the deck a lot less dominant.
It won't be enough though Nibiru alone can't stop a t0 you need to hit something else one starter card Temple + another ban is good, oak its an extender that can also get flamberge, similar to kitkallos it can extend like crazy
Transaction Rollback is not really good on Labrynth MD (compared to OCG/TCG) because of the semi limits. They really want to push Labrynth into playing floodgates by hitting the furnitures.
2 and 2 is more than enough, especially with options like Paleozoic Marella and Ariane to get key traps from deck or hand to GY respectively. Also you can and should stop playing non-engine Hand Traps and play Rollback at 2 if you want to set up your plays reliably.
That's why I play 1 foolish burial goods and 2 rollbacks. You can put rollback to three for more "consistency" but saying rollback is "not really good" on lab shows that you barely even play lab
@opssoldier3316 thats why evenly match exists and also in my case at least im running torrential tribute and solemn strike and I've won duels by just using those two even going 2nd its all about knowing when to use your trap cards lab is not just monkey flipping floodgates you know
If I was you I'd cut all the generic handtraps and imperms for more solid traps like dogmatika punishent, torrential tribute, trap trick. Cut rollback to 2 and run foolish burial goods as a pseudo 3rd copy. Lord of the heavenly prison for protection/extra search power/big body that's easy to summon. Karma Cannon should be a 3 of as well, it's too cracked in this format. You only really need 1 of each furniture too and I'd cut Ariane or just run 1 until Arius gets released. Solemn Strike for Ash protection wouldn't hurt either.
Mr schmidt: I dont care where shifter goes as long as its not 3 konami: so for shifter we are introducing a special case where this card specifically can be played at 4 copies
Such a fun card, love to make Adventure Engine Access with him in Phantom Knights in Master Duel And is fair in today's game, MD has Innovker and he does nothing
Everyone saying that Konami should murder the snake-eye deck and fuck the people that spent money on the cards are the last people Konami are going to listen to. Depending on the game, 60-90% of the gaming industry’s revenue comes from the big fish. They’re not making money from selling 2 boxes per year to half a million players, they make money from the 2000 players that need to have the shiniest cards and open or contribute to opening hundreds or thousands of boxes each year. It’s the same reason MtG has a reserve list or casinos let people act like complete assholes on their gaming floor. They don’t want to piss off the whales. That being said, if I had to guess, Konami is closer to 60% than some of the other games which is why they tend to reprint and ban high value cards more so than other games. They’re also really smart about not messing with a product until it’s out of sales rotation and therefore they’ve already gotten their money’s worth. *The percentages I mentioned above are not official figures from a given source, they are estimates made from my experience as a vendor in card games and as a former casino employee. At the casino I worked at, we were literally told in training that we pretty much let certain tiered members do whatever they want (excluding sexual harassment thank god) bc despite representing only about 10% of the players, they make up for about 90% of the revenue in a year (those are real statistics).*

Wanted is not a problem card until diabellstar gets another going first normal spell that combos into everything. I don’t want to lose diabellstar illusion combos with cycle, or board wipes in spellcaster decks with rciela, or having silvera as a cool anti board breaker card for midrange decks that need their normal summon. The wanted recurring on the turn after it was used to search diabellstar and recycling cards to reset with diabellstar is cool and should be in the game. Diabellstar being a tier 0 combo enabler is not cool and shouldn’t be in the game. Original sinful spoils is the problem
Rather than banning snake-eye or sinful spoils, bring back many of the cards that were power crept from the previous banlist and take off many other cards off. It would really see if they have a chance against the meta relevant decks at full power.
If OSS goes to the ban list you can wanted for DStar, DStar goes and gets the trap card which is still a fine card even if it doesn't progress your turn it still does something
Maybe ban apo cause it is more generic to make since it is a link. However Baronne ban would hurt rogue synchro strategies big time. As a swordsoul player this would mean no counterplay to nib, and the deck is already not competitive, a single omni doesnt do enough anyways but lets you play a bit more
Man the problem with snake eye is they can do all that they do while also running 15+ non engine which rn is just handtraps. I say limit ash at least this next banlist to make the deck rely more on bonfire search ash to make the desk more volatile into stuff like droll. Also yeah ban apo ban baronne 😂

The problem card is obviously original because its a bridge to everything lol, just like broadbull was the problem because it was a bridge to every beast warrior
I think the Original Sinful Spoils - Snake Eye ban could be a good pick while leaving the rest of the cards potentially unhit. It cuts off Diabellstar from accessing the Snake-Eyes Engine and makes Jet Synchron plays not really work. It reduces the power of the deck without just being a consistency hit and also will probably stop the engine from showing up in every fire deck since the card that tutors all the strong level 1 fires is gone. Pure Snake-eyes could still be able to make some plays by going Snake Eye Ash > Poplar or Bonfire into Poplar, but now Poplar will just get the field spell or something else and the power of the 1 card starters is vastly reduced. Maybe people play more copies of Oak and run Birch to access the other parts of the engine, or it becomes more focused on the grind game than setting up a big board. Diabellstar might still have some utility with getting the omni-negate trap or Subversion and has synergy with Dramatic Snake-Eye Chase as well. Plus people who invested in Diabellstar/Wanted still have things to look forward to with future Sinful Spoils support. And Apollousa and Baronne I agree should get the ban hammer! I'm tired of all the generic boards that just spit out those 2 boss monsters.
Bonfire to1 Linkuriboh banned Black witch to 1 This doesn't make the deck unplayable and hits consistency of the deck. Hurts opening multiple wanted. This also prevents some of the linkuriboh plays dodging imperm and battlephase shenanigans. Also ROTA at 1 bonfire is ROTA for fire decks just feels right.

Snake eye was released in AGOV months ago and did basically nothing, then Konami power crept the entire game and it's not just dominating, it's completely crushing the field to the point where the only viable deck to win at a competitive level is to play snake eye. The second best deck is something like 10x less represented because the gap is that wide.
I'm pretty sure even with Ariseheart... They were still worse than handicapped tear. Kashtira was like what? Worse floo in that span? After hitting Kashtira even Floo felt better than it. The only strong card in Kash nowadays are Fenrir, maybe Unicorn and the occasional "Kashtira" cards bridging archetypes like Manadium etc, plus they brick like hell. I've never had any problem with Kashtira apart from Fenrir being too strong.
