I am not ambitious nor am i a supporter of the ambitious or ambition by definition. Having said that jesus advised the world to not hide your light under a bushel. Superman is a good example even tho hes a fictional character. He said is the bird showing off when it flies? Jonathan kent had accused him of showing off. It is possible to shine brightly without seeking to achieve. This is in my view what jesus meant. Too many people try to profit from their abilities which in my opinion is an assault on god who gave you those gifts. I also strongly dislike the words great and greatness. Very few people truly understand what makes someone or something great. It is not really appropriate to say jesus is great. Jesus is jesus. He is unique. He is God. I wouldnt say jesus is great. I would only ever say jesus is lord.
