This is awesome dude, the reasons why you made this is exactly why I made the ETQ (Snakestaff Systems). This looks to be a great solution for people who want to wait until it gets recommended by CoTCCC. I’ll spread the word, just happened to check up on your channel because I loved your past videos on engineering, as I’m an engineer in the industry as well. Hope to see more of those videos sometime!
Ben, that is FANTASTIC! We would really like to get a few of your ETQ's out on the range for testing, and will pair them with the ProTQ for EDC. What a wonderful concept that solves a big chunk of the bulkiness of TQ's. Well done, Sir! I'd be happy to promote the ETC after we've put it through the ringer in training. Currently we are using the Recon Medical (CAT Lookalike) TQ's with the metal windlass and metal reinforced buckles. They work great, but they are full size. If the ETQ works just as well (taking the smaller size into consideration), we will happily promote it. I have personally used a TQ one time in real life, and it was a CAT that I had in my glove box. Since then, we came up with the ProTQ to keep it on our person. Send us an email if you'd like.
